I am a westerner and I was raised on a Ranch with that attitude.
It's never changing. WE HAVE GUNS OUT WEST!!
Why? It's still wild and we go hunting. Hunting elk and other big game was a great
experience for me as a kid. My pop showed me the routine and told me how to defend myself.
Prior to shooting, I had to take the NRA gun safety program https://home.nra.org/
. It was great. We learned how
to handle guns properly, respect them and the laws governing them. I am glad I did. I HAVE GUNS!
I am not afraid to use a gun to kill my dinner or someone who is trying to hurt me or my family in self defence.
I hope I would never have to use it for that reason.
My Great Grandfather told of stories how the APACHE Indian would surround his home in the remote areas of Utah. They would
gather in front of his house on horse back and make a screeching sound, usually displaying a long stick that had scalps of victims they
butchered. I don't know how he continued to talk his way out of death and destruction, but he did with food and some medical needs.
He was like a doctor to them. I have his Journal and account of this story. So I guess we need to learn how to be safe, defend ourselves when needed and perhaps, on occasion, bullshit our way out of hate!BE SAFE
