Jun 21, 2016 5:36 PM GMT matter-of-factly, I referred to the tragedy as a terrorist attack against the LGBT community.

“Well,” said my friend, “I don’t see it as just that. I mean, it is, of course, an attack at a gay nightclub and against LGBT people. But I see it as an attack on all Americans.”

I could sense the deeply well-meaning intent in my friend’s words. However I was immediately reminded of a clip I had seen of the gay British reporter Owen Jones, who angrily walked out of Sky News when his fellow reporters refused to acknowledge the attack as singling out the LGBT community. So I asked my friend the same question that Jones asked his fellow reporters: “If the gunman had walked into a synagogue and killed 50 Jews, would you not call that an anti-Semitic terrorist attack?” “Oh, I see what you mean …” my friend said.

    A very good lesson.
Hope I don't have to use it (much).

Oh, not my elephunt thing. I just thought that funny. Oh, wait. you were talking about the rabbi?

Found that rebbe thang while looking to see if Jewish groups did indeed name us in death as I'd think most of them would, rather than as the Pope disgustingly did not and so many Muslim nations typically refused to name us and so many Republicans hypocritically failed to acknowledge the massacre of us.

So far I've found only the Chabad fundamentalists to disrespect us by not naming us, as I'd expected & for which I wrote them a nasty note.

But I was surprised to find the American Orthodoxy did indeed name us. I was all prepared to be pissed off at them so I'm very glad to be able to post here this:

Jewish Orthodox Union Condemned Orlando Attack & Acknowledged LGBT is clear that those people who were murdered and grievously injured were targeted because of their identification with the LGBT community. All people of good will must condemn such violence...

Obviously a rudely placed reference to the co-conspirator Palestinian wife of the mass murderer of Gay people at Orlando.
    Go fuck yourself.

If by waving a flag (not much of an actual argument, eh?) you mean you want to build a prosperous Arab Palestine within the territories, then I'm with you.

Let's talk peace: The two-state solution

But if you mean to be "in your face" and are seeking the destruction of Israel, then stop claiming to be the "victim" - other than of your own stupidity, hostility and violence.

Wow. Another anti-Israel troll has hijacked a thread, this time one about Orlando.
    Because it mentioned a Rabbi.

[Edit: no surprise, below the AyaTrolLiar JTheM congratulates the other troll for "Good political instincts Cody."]

cody4u shows us not just that he's a mental lightweight who thinks pictures are an argument,
and not only that he hates Israel/Jews more than he cares for gays (see NK reference above),
but that he hates Israel/Jews more than he cares for Gazan children (whose death he doesn't lament, but politically utilizes).

If he actually cared about these children, he'd condemn Hamas and their ilk:

Israel shows evidence of rocket fire from Gaza schools

Why even fire these rockets (from behind scores of thousands of human shields, including children) which have directly killed more Gazans than they have murdered Israelis?

There they go again. Never able to discuss a topic in its thread.
Just report them as spam. That's why the button is there.

Jun 30, 2016 12:33 AM GMT Rabbis Horrified by Orlando Shooting

Early Sunday, a terrorist stormed a crowded nightclub in Orlando, Florida, and went on a shooting rampage, which left 49 people dead and 53 wounded— the worst mass shooting in U.S. history. In response to this weekend’s mass shooting, the Rabbinical Assembly, the international association for Conservative/Masorti rabbis, released the following statement:

We share our deepest sympathies and prayers with the families of those who lost their lives and were injured in the Orlando shooting. May their memories be a blessing for all who knew them. But prayer alone will not resolve the circumstances that made this tragedy possible and so we also issue a strong call for action.

This shooting rampage targeted the LGBT community in the midst of Pride month, a time where the LGBT community comes together to publicly acknowledge and celebrate their identities, their common history, and their struggle for social recognition and equality. The RA has passed multiple resolutions calling on the community to ‘work for full and equal civil rights for gays and lesbians in our national life, deplore violence against gays and lesbians, encourage inclusion of gay and lesbian Jews in our congregations, and increase our awareness of issues facing gay and lesbian Jews.’ We know that we stand with people of good will of all faiths in continuing this work.

We urge the United States Congress and the President of the United States to take meaningful steps toward ending this horrifying violence in our communities by passing common-sense gun legislation. As recently as our May 2016 convention, the Rabbinical Assembly issued a resolution encouraging our members to lobby local, state and federal lawmakers to support required background checks on all public and private gun sales, bans on military style assault weapons and high-capacity magazines, and legislation making gun trafficking a federal crime with severe penalties.

As our Jewish tradition teaches us,lo ta'amod al dam re'eikha — do not stand idly by the blood of your neighbor (Leviticus 19:16). Our thoughts and prayers go out to all members of the LGBT community, their families, their friends and their loved ones

JPGC2007> This RJ's website is not always about Israel, get lost.

There he goes again. As if this thread was about Israel?
theantijock posted how different groups reacted to mass murder in Orlando.
If they mentiond that it was an attack also on the gay community or if they swept that under the carpet.
Once again because the title says "Rabbi" the Anti-semites crawl out from under their rocks.

    JPGC2007> Free Palestine!

"Palestine" is the Latin/European name for Eretz Yisrael, the Jewish homeland
and early 20th century Arab denials of the existence of "Palestine".
