Hillary Clinton and Benghazi Report - far from faultless

Not to anyone's surprise some of the media are trying to isolate Hillary from the Benghazi scandal. They claim she was not responsible for the deaths, even though few made that specific claim. NY Times says there was no new evidence implicating her, as if to suggest no evidence existed prior to the report.

The real claim against her, which stands, is her role in the deception that followed the incident, including lying to the next of kin during ceremonies when the remains arrived in the US. Despicable and contemptible. If she should escape indictment and run, the families of the four killed will speak out very loudly. It will further reinforce the view that she is fundamentally dishonest and disreputable. The mothers, fathers, brothers and sisters will speak out forcefully. Even the NY Times won't be able to mute them.

    http://www.chicagotribune.com/news/opinion/editorials/ct-benghazi-hillary-clinton-obama-rhodes-edit-0629-jm-20160628-story.html

The crux of it is that during and well after the chaos of the attacks on the State Department's outpost and nearby CIA annex in Benghazi, Clinton and the Obama administration promoted a false narrative for public consumption: that the violence came from a spontaneous outburst of mob anger. Although Clinton confided to her daughter, Chelsea, in an email that night that an al-Qaida faction was responsible, for two weeks she let fester the story that mob action, not a planned assault her department might have anticipated, killed her employees.

Hillary says time to move on. Wonder if the next of kin will move on. More likely they will loudly and often say how she lied to their faces.

You're delusional. The report addressed all of that and found her to be faultless. This is your buddy's committee that was aching to find fault. The real failure was to not have better defensive assets nearby and that was at the specific request of the Ambassador who felt safe and didn't want the military presence around him as a show of solidarity with the new government. The other issue was the slow execution of force in response to Obama's order to go in. But that had nothing to do with Hillary.

If the eight committees found no fault, your attempt to rewrite what you want to be a big fault is laughable.
Go back to your FOX bullshit. No one buys your pathetic fiction. Not even the clearly political witch-hunt committee. If there is any crime here it is the use of the levers of power in Congress to attack an opponent for purely political reasons. Nixon was forced to resign for doing that.

Hillary actively participated in a cover-up and lied to the next of kin. They will speak up and all your whining won't matter.

    An Alternative Question:
Should the US government disclose to ISIS all the details of any security weakness?

Republicans seemed to be demanding exactly that.

The witch-hunt proved to be a miserable failure, and Trey Gowdy and his cabal only have themselves to blame . People should just move on.

The next of kin won't move on. She actively participated in the cover-up. Maybe you haven't seen these people with their claims and her lies. If she is not indicted there will be many ads and news reports that will showcase the mothers, fathers, etc.

Chris Stevens' sister (you probably don't know who that was: the Ambassador who was killed) Dr. Anne Stevens, Chief of pediatric rheumatology, spoke on behalf of the family and made it clear that Hillary is not to blame. She suggested that Congress is the "underlying cause" of why there was a lack of adequate security in the consulate in the first place. "It is clear in hindsight that the facility was not sufficiently protected (sic). But what was the underlying cause? Perhaps if Congress had provided a budget to increase security (sic). I do not blame Hillary or Pancetta."

    You Repukes are pathetic.

As an aside, this is from the House Committee via the Washington Post. Hillary may not have seen the requests or concerns because Stevens went through the chain of command or because they did not go to the private Clinton email that she used exclusively. But if she was not aware of the requests, then she is totally incompetent.

I'm not a Hillary fan, but it comes down to this: do you really want to give up all the advances we have made in the last 8 years, to vote for a man who says he'll appoint judges to roll back marriage equality? Do you really want someone as unstable as Trump on the phone at 2 AM? Do you really think America would function better under someone as hypersensitive to criticism and difference of opinion as Trump?

    Really?

And remember, not voting at all is running the risk.

I'll take Trump any day over Hillary. She has demonstrated two things quite well: dishonesty and incompetence. Recent retired Secret Service agent wrote a book and stated she is temperamental and prone to rages including throwing an object at Bill. Believe it or not. I believe it.

The Republican witch hunt exonerated her. As well as every other so-called investigation. You just can't believe it because you heard it nauseatingly every thirty minutes on FOX, the source of all moronic bullshit like your brain.

One guy. Bullshit. I know a totally good guy who works on the campaign and is assigned to her detail most of the time. He says she kind and gentle but firm about controlling her priorities. Your SS agent holds a grudge and is making money selling venom to morons like you.

I criticize your dumb comments, like that one, but I haven't called you names like moron. But you can't resist because you're angry and unhappy. You're clearly resentful at all those who have done better in life than you so in your bitterness you lash out and call names. I'll bet you're quiet and meek in real life so you lash out and call names when you can hide behind a keyboard. If you tried that in real life, you'd get the living shit beat out of you.
