"People assumed that the law mattered, that the same rules applied to everyone. That duly enacted laws would be enforced equally until repealed. That the Constitution set the foundation and that its guarantees would be honored even if we disliked the result in a particular case. But that’s not our country today.

The idea of the rule of law today is a lie. There is no law. There is no justice. There are only lies.

Hillary Clinton is manifestly guilty of multiple felonies. Her fans deny it half-heartedly, but mostly out of habit – in the end, it’s fine with them if she’s a felon. They don’t care. It’s just some law. What’s the big deal? It doesn’t matter that anyone else would be in jail right now for doing a fraction of what she did. But the law is not important. Justice is not important.

The attorney general secretly canoodles with the husband of the subject of criminal investigation by her own department and the president, the enforcer of our laws, shrugs. The media, the challenger of the powerful, smirks. They rub our noses in their contempt for the law. And by doing so, demonstrate their contempt for us."

Given that the current FBI Director is fiercely independent, no lover of the Clintons and a Republican, it's hard to see how the conspiracy theories will develop, but that won't stop conservatives trying.

Yeah, I suppose it's all part of the grieving process. I think they know this is the day Hillary Clinton's presidency was assured.

More so we'll see the GOP feign hammering conspiracy theories while silently cheering one more nail in Trump's reign over the Republican party.

That was quick. Yeah the Republicans won't care. They'll still slander her and make up whatever they can sell to the stupid. That's all they can do. They certainly don't have any policies they can advocate. Wish TrumpU investigation could move along faster. Ot the rape charge.

One more FBI investigation to go

"The second criminal FBI investigation involves “Public Corruption” relating to the Clinton Foundation itself. The allegations against her are that she used her position as Secretary of State to personally enrich herself and her husband by doing favors for foreign governments and receiving hundreds of millions of dollars in contributions to the Clinton Foundation in return. According to some sources, Saudi Arabia is responsible for 20% of Hillary’s campaign contributions. "

Comey states there was evidence that laws were violated. He stated there was evidence of gross negligence. From what has been made public we already know this.

Any average person would have been prosecuted for far less. We now know there is law for the little people and law for the Clintons.

Please- no BS about conspiracy theories. This is black and white obvious.

Comey is not independent -- he's a Republican, and a Bush appointee.

Trust me: he wanted to find a reason to indict Clinton. He couldn't, because she didn't break the law. Republicans have just been lying about it for the last year, even though its been clear for a year she broke no laws. The best he could come up with was that she was careless about sending seven email chains (seven out of many thousands -- big whoop) over an unclassified system, but even that's a red herring -- the official State Department system is also an unlcassified system, so even if she had not opted for a private email system those seven email chains would have had the same problem.

There's no there, there, and there never has been. Bush Sec. of State Colin Powell used private email exclusively and deleted them all. Comey's buddy Bush and his friend Rove used a private email server housed at Republican Party headquarters then deleted millions of emails in the midst of the Valerie Plame investigation. The system of retroactively classifying emails is a mess, and the unclassified official email systems throughout government are also a mess -- constantly hacked by China and others. None of this is Hillary Clinton's fault, and Republicans have never faked outrage about any of this. She didn't do anything wrong -- this is another failed right-wing witch hunt that backfired spectacularly.

Rethuglicans and their psychotic and pathologically dishonest nominee Trump have zero workable policy ideas on how to improve the country -- just boilerplate conservative crap: appoint right-wing Supreme Court judges, repeal gay marriage, criminalize abortion, cut taxes for millionaires and billionaires, deport millions of Latinos, initiate trade wars that will raise prices and make goods unaffordable, deny climate change science, do nothing about policing-for-profit or police brutality, refuse to increase spending to create infrastructure/manufacturing jobs, repeal Wall Street reform, repeal healthcare reform, dictate to trans people where they can use the bathroom, try to prevent blacks and young people from voting, and oppose efforts to prevent anti-gay discrimination. This is the Trump platform. Americans hate it, so they have to try to scandalmonger against Hillary. It's very pathetic, and it's failing miserably.

When did you register GOP? Thank you for providing yet another opportunity to post the truth about what a wonderful job the Clinton Foundation does:

http://www.factcheck.org/2015/06/where-does-clinton-foundation-money-go/Where Does Clinton Foundation Money Go?

Republican presidential candidate Carly Fiorina says that “so little” of the charitable donations to the Clinton Foundation “actually go to charitable works” — a figure CARLY for America later put at about 6 percent of its annual revenues — but Fiorina is simply wrong.

Fiorina and others are referring only to the amount donated by the Clinton Foundation to outside charities, ignoring the fact that most of the Clinton Foundation’s charitable work is performed in-house....

Another philanthropy watchdog, CharityWatch, a project of the American Institute of Philanthropy, gave the Clinton Foundation an “A” rating.

Daniel Borochoff, president and founder of CharityWatch, told us by phone that its analysis of the finances of the Clinton Foundation and its affiliates found that about 89 percent of the foundation budget is spent on programming (or “charity”), higher than the 75 percent considered the industry standard.

To be fair, Comey is an Obama appointee (as FBI Director) and (whatever his personal feelings) having read his comments, I can't find anything to criticize him for regarding his conclusions. I've said all along (much to the indignation of Socal and Bob3) that this is probably 'slap on the wrist' territory (i.e. had Clinton still been in post, it would probably be grounds for administrative action), which is basically what Comey says.

FBI Director Comey’s full remarks on Clinton email probe

    [Excerpt]
"In looking back at our investigations into mishandling or removal of classified information, we cannot find a case that would support bringing criminal charges on these facts. All the cases prosecuted involved some combination of: clearly intentional and willful mishandling of classified information; or vast quantities of materials exposed in such a way as to support an inference of intentional misconduct; or indications of disloyalty to the United States; or efforts to obstruct justice. We do not see those things here.

To be clear, this is not to suggest that in similar circumstances, a person who engaged in this activity would face no consequences. To the contrary, those individuals are often subject to security or administrative sanctions. But that is not what we are deciding now."

I think they are too stupid to notice.

I mean you still have Dick Cheney acting as if he didn't get everything about Iraq wrong, talking about what others should and shouldn't do foreign policy-wise. You have a group of people, and their talking heads, that have been wrong about almost everything almost all the time for the past 20 years and still they are nearly certain about whichever topic they are speaking on. Legalised pot is going to destroy society? Gay marriage will lead to people marrying squirrels? Global warming isn't real? Tax cuts for the rich will make everything better? They will great us as liberators? Lets disband the ba'ath party, they won't just join al-qaida or Isis? The war will pay for itself? Romney is going to win? Romney is still going to win despite every non fox news outlet reporting he has lost?

These morons are wrong about everything all the fucking time and it has not even come close to penetrating their brains. They just have something wrong with the way they see the world. It's not a surprise that conservatives here are fucked up, conservatives in the middle east are fucked up. conservatives in india are fucked up and so are the ones in russia. Conservatives have always been fucked up, go back to ancient rome and you've got the senate hording all the land, so much so there are no soldiers left to join the army.

Conservatism by its very nature is against progress, which is naturally pitted against new information. American conservatism, not unlike middle eastern conservatism, is just this insane extreme of idiocy. Atleast Isis has a script, a magical book dictated by the Angel Gabriel. (howcome more muslims aren't named Gabriel btw?)

I have no idea what excuse there is for republicans there is these days. And the fact they are so disgraceful and so far from reality, leaves room for a monster like Hillary Clinton and the joke the democrats are to pick up the slack.

In criminal litigation, there's this thing called "prosecutorial discretion." What that means in very basic terms is that government prosecutors have broad discretion not to prosecute someone when they have reasonable belief that they will likely lose the case on the merits (e.g., the law or the facts do not fully support their case or their case is very weak). This is what happened here. As Comey said, "Our judgment is that no reasonable prosecutor would bring such a case." Indeed, were the FBI to recommend prosecution, and were the DoJ to prosecute Clinton and lose, the repercussions to the DoJ's reputation and integrity would be so severe, and the damage to Clinton so irreparable, that the DoJ might not be able to recover from them. Whether we agree or not with the FBI's decision, it's important to note one of the federal government's principles of prosecution: "A determination to prosecute represents a policy judgment that the fundamental interests of society require the application of the criminal laws to a particular set of circumstances—recognizing both that serious violations of Federal law must be prosecuted, and that prosecution entails profound consequences for the accused and the family of the accused whether or not a conviction ultimately results."

Hillary still accepted a dinner in her honor, over $50,000 in jewelry and over $100 Million Dollars to the Bill, Hillary & Chelsea Clinton Foundation from Islamic Dictators who imprison and stone gays to death:
    09-06-12-brunei-g-05.jpg

Comey's FBI failed to track the Orlando Terrorist after he was interviewed twice then bought assault weapons. Comey still isn't flagging interviewees who later purchase assault weapons which is within his area of responsibility. Obama still hasn't issued an executive order to track interviewees.

Republicans have been saying for twenty-five years that Hillary is "guilty" of this felony or that felony, and have wasted literally millions of taxpayer dollars trying to prove this lie. Not only has she never been found guilty of any crime, she's never faced trial or even been indicted.

So Hillary is either a master ninja tantamount to God (which is impressive) or Rethuglicans are delusional pathological liars. Either way, she's going to be the next President and they're going to be losers and laughingstocks.

Consider the FBI recently spent like 300 million on the Orlando shooting investigation. They must have spent Billions on the Clinton email investigation.
