What's really going on in the world.
It seems globally there is a lot of anger and violence going on. From politics and race relations in America to post Brexit violence in the UK and the rise of the far right in Europe and wars in the middle east.
I feel like humanity is getting distracted and manipulated by something in order to have us fighting.
This anger is global and I think it's important to look beyond our own patch to have a macro perspective.
What do you think is the real cause?
Globalisation, media power, the banks. What's your theory?

The prevailing political narrative (ideology) is failing to catch up with the realities of daily living more than it usually does.

So, we are being told to believe in one (or the other) set of values, only to see that these fail to explain the realities around us. The anger, frustration, feeling of hopelessness are all helping the radicals of kinds and colors who are only too keen to jump on the bandwagon.

We need a New rather Global Deal to get back on the track...

I think 24-hour rolling news coverage, online news content and social media are what's going on. There have been far more tumultuous times in history (even in recent history). It's only a few decades ago that we were facing the prospect of complete nuclear annihilation. That's not to say the events you mention are not momentous, but they have to be placed in their proper historical and geopolitical context.

I had trouble playing the Fallout 3 video game because it was too realistic of a creation of a post nuclear holocaust world. Playing it made me depressed for hours afterwards. For the young guys who created the game it was an amusing concept but for those of us who lived through that period it was not funny at all.

I joined up as a cold war warrior. Training exercises inevitably drew to a close with nuclear strikes, everyone in full NBC gear and hopelessly optimistic "post attack recovery" drills.

    100% Agree with ^^this^^

Social media has enabled people to speak out and say things online they would never have the nerve to say face-to-face. It has brought out the worst in everybody, and it's getting worse by the day. This world is spinning faster and faster and it's not headed in a good direction. Something is about to blow, you can just feel it.

This man @georgesoros & other elites want global unrest.
    Why?
It makes them beyond filthy rich. Seriously, Do some research and you will learn how
he and others have single handedly bought votes, governments and even fund the #blacklivematters group and others
@georgesoros has made BILLIONS and has recently made huge investments in Barrick's Gold. He knows
what he's doing. It's far deeper than you'd ever believe or want to imagine.
Be safe all of you. We are in perilous times.

I recently posted this on facebook, just my observation.

"Wow. I don't have TV and I don't read newspapers much, but I see all these articles on facebook. Seems the world is going crazy. so much race baiting, possible false flags, weird dividing political battles like people fighting over football teams. Seems it's all leading to martial law, agenda 21, world war 3, scapegoating of muslims, and maybe the final false ET threat that Von Braun talked about with the weaponization of space"

It's really not that farfetched, with Hillary mentioning if she's elected she would release the files on ETs and ufos. but yeah, definitely seems like new world order shit.

her work with the late German Scientist Dr Werner von Braun.
Von Braun anticipated terrorists, asteroids and ETs on America's 'enemies list!'
Foresaw and warned of 'war in space' as an eventuality!"

I think a big part of it is globalization which leads to pressures on the middle and lower class in industrialized nations as well as too much concentrated wealth and power at the top. The pressures are making people angry. Some of the anger is of course misdirected: blaming immigrants for example. We have seen this from millions of people in each of these countries: US, in the UK and in France. And it will not get better as long as things are allowed to stay the way they are. The governments in these countries need to represent their people better. Corporations and wealthy organizations have too much power in the US. In the US, neither Trump nor Hillary offer real solutions. They both represent the problem. So that means unless we get a Congress that actually wants to represent the American people (which is not going to happen as long as we don't have publicly funded campaigns and an elimination of donations) we will have to wait a long time before we get another opportunity to make things better.

Many of us had an "advantage" growing up with some board games, especially when TV changed from B&W to color. Before I moved to LA, I left all my board games, at least 20 of them behind, I suppose they were all sold at a yard sale, im not sure what happened to them. Most of these were before electronic games appeared, before cable TV and finally internet. Including Chess, I remember playing these with friends and family as evening entertainment, even the board game, dungeons and dragons is now old in comparison.

I am not sure what "today's agenda" is but life in general just seems to be a bit more complex than anything i ever remember. I was born in the mid 60's, too young to know or understand what was happening then, the 70's for me still too young to enjoy "the party", when i finally became of age, it was the conservative, toned down 80's and the stoppage of the free love and sex due to Aids. All of my peers, who grew up just before the PC and internet, are no longer staying silent and are now in control of many in the world, that is if they have lived at least until the age of 50. In some ways this is bad because we were taught "conservatism" growing up due to the decade controlled by conservatives. My peers are the tail end, and i mean very end of baby boomers, so much so that we identify with both Gen X generations and their split from baby boom.

Whats happening today, this new generation is our children from the decade of oppression, the conservative 80's. I think what we are going through is a generational conflict. The built up oppression from the conservative 50's, resulted in the 60's-70's revolutions. The built up oppression from the 80's-2000's is now resulted in a 2010's second generational revolution. If its a "generational war", there has to be a final conclusion to this battle, eventually. Generational, oppressive conservatism must die, they have caused the most conflict anywhere in the world. We have entered a new age (Aquarius-ruled by Uranus which rules the internet), there is no room for oppression or conservatism any longer, period, as that was the age of Pisces. Its not cliquish either, out with old, in with new.

Oppression tactics may have worked BEFORE INTERNET, because people relied on others to find information. And those people, (in power) told untruths, or half truths. AFTER INTERNET, people can look and search for information, truth or otherwise, themselves. The internet has empowered or liberated the individual (Uranus), the internet changed the "collective" understanding, something my generation did not have. My generation created their own belief system based off of someone telling us THEIR TRUTH, not the real truth. The internet gave the individual, real free will, in my generation, free will was suppressed.

Hope this makes sense, I remember playing this game in our family's basement, some times it would go for days before "a winner"
And yes, we would continue this game the next day or evening

One explanation is that disadvantageous trade deals have undermined well paying manufacturing jobs in the developed world. While in theory this would have been offset by lowered prices (on imported goods made in China), it appears this has not turned out so well because incomes have not kept up with inflation as unions became too weak to negotiate pay.

On the other front, record low interest rates have inflated asset bubbles further dividing the have from the have nots, while pushing household debt to record levels.

Finally, the low growth, low yield, low interest monetary environment has left savers (retirees) without income.

    No wonder people are angry.

Nothing new - there has been a lot of violence in the world for a long time. You just notice it more now.
