Finding someone from Grindr

I chatted with a white guy who goes to USC (University of Southern California) a couple years ago on Grindr. The conversation began by complimenting each others' bodies. Then it went "I'll be an Asian doctor who makes money for the family" then "I'll be the stay at home husband who cooks" then "I'll meet you at blah blah blah, I'm not sure if it was a real place or not" and then I got scared and said "Sorry I'm just joking around" and he said "Ha ha aren't we all." But now that I think about it could I possibly date someone like that? What do you guys think? I haven't had Grindr installed for a couple years since I lost my fancy phone. Maybe someone with more experience could comment. And how would I find him again.

You flaked out because you don't think you can possibly date someone who stays at home and cooks? And 2 years ago? I would have moved on. lol

    A few things ..

1.) Don't take words from someone you hardly know seriously, especially on Grindr.
2.) When a potential dating situation occurs between two guys, both sides will play games and be walled up. Testing the waters by dropping comments like that and seeing how you react, is one strategy I've noticed guys will use to see what exactly you may be looking before, beyond a hookup (if is Grindr, after all).
3.) Relationships have started off grindr, but I wouldn't use that as your main strategy for finding one.

Grindr probably isn't the best way to find a date anyways. People on there are only after just the one thing ... so people are generally like that if you met them on there. Plus the window of 2 years is just too long. Think about it like this: did you remember what you had for breakfast 2 years ago? If not, then it can be applied here as well.

I'm not using Grindr but so far what I heard about it is the same as all "meeting" sites! I can say similar for Realjock as well as for Planetromeo and so on! Too many fakes ;)
