A Supreme Court Justice just ripped a candidate for President.

I don't care what party you belong to, that is such a violation of impartiality. If a conservative Supreme Court Judge said that about Hillary? She should be impeached. She is obviously older and a bit batty. But no matter the party, That is grounds for impeachment. It's the Supreme Court. She states that publicly?

I can't believe she said that as a sitting Justice. She should be immediately removed.

WHY DID NO ONE COMPLAIN WHEN SCALIA DID IT? it's only wrong when the Jewish lady does it, but it was perfectly acceptible when the fat bigot did it?

http://www.nationalmemo.com/outraged-about-ginsburgs-comments-supreme-court-justices-have-always-voiced-political-opinions/Supreme Court Justices Have Always Voiced Political Opinions...

ideological leanings of the justices are well known by not only their decisions (its kind of their job to give opinions), but also their public statements.

Unlike Ginsburg’s comments about Trump, justices have made plenty of statements in the past that relate directly to cases before them in the court.

Antonin Scalia was the poster boy for this behavior – the conservative legal icon frequently toured between law schools, book stores, and other gatherings, debating all comers on a wide range of topics. We knew how he felt about the death penalty, abortion and homosexuality:

“The death penalty? Give me a break. It’s easy. Abortion? Absolutely easy. Nobody ever thought the Constitution prevented restrictions on abortion. Homosexual sodomy? Come on. For 200 years, it was criminal in every state.” he said in 2012.

“What minorities deserve protection? What? It’s up to me to identify deserving minorities? What about pederasts? What about child abusers? This is a deserving minority. Nobody loves them.” he said in 2015.

WestCoastJock saidNow she said that she shouldn't have said those things. So we should all forget about it.

Now that's a Democrat for ya. Make an edicate mistake and apologize. No Republican would even think of doing that. Trump insulted about half the world and he gets his feelings hurt and bitches when called on it. Whiney little bitch.

Where did this myth of impartiality in the Supreme Court come from? Everyone knows that there are liberal judges and conservative judges which is why both parties care so much about which justices get appointed and who gets to nominate them. Even if Justice Roberts, Alito, Ginsberg, Sotamayor etc never uttered a word about the candidates or their political affiliation, they still would have feelings one way or another.

She had every right to say what she said, and I go as far as to say every moral obligation to do what she'd done, both in saying what she said the first round especially in these extraordinary times and even in capitulating if not merely to shut every one up but even to show that she's not above considering the opinions of others, a lovely gesture from a gracious lady.

http://blog.constitutioncenter.org/2016/07/constitution-check-do-supreme-court-justices-have-a-right-to-comment-on-politics/Constitution Check: Do Supreme Court Justices have a right to comment on politics?

Nothing in the Constitution’s guarantees of free speech make political commentary out of bounds for judges, or for Supreme Court Justices.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/National_Constitution_CenterThe National Constitution Center is a nonprofit, nonpartisan institution devoted to explaining the United States Constitution and what it represents.

So when Scalia wiped his dirty fat ass on the gay community in his speeches from the lectern to university students, that's not a Supreme Court Justice being too political?

Or when the Supreme Court steals the presidency of the United States away from the Democrats and gives it to Republican Bush, that's not the Court being too political?

But when the nice Jewish lady from Brooklyn calls Trump out as the phony he is, now, suddenly and supposedly without precedence or without memory, or in denial that Republicans do the very same, pick one, a justice is being too political?

    Bullshit.

Her only mistake was to say what she did in an interview and not at a podium.

It's just surprised to hear her said those things out loud, let's be honest, we all know what she thinks about him, it would be foolish to think otherwise. But this is not a violation of impartiality, after all, the fat dead blob said all those things about gay people, and no one in the political world said anything about it, especially when the vote came down to granting marriage to gay people, and O M G, that POS voted against it!!!! Oh, the horror shocking thought, that same jackass compared being gay to a murderer, bestiality, and incest, I wonder how he would vote....well we now know how that panned out.

So yes, if the fat dead water buffalo can speak out against gay people all the while not recusing himself when it came to vote on the same people that he constantly berates, then this old bat can speak out against a presidential candidate, afterall, what the tub of lard did is actually worse than this. Ginsburg is trashing the candidate, but her job actually doesn't involve Trump, while Scalia talked trash about gay people, and used his job to strike us.

    #VoteGreenParty

Please don't Nader this thing again. Look at how 8 years of Bush turned out, you want more conservative Trump appointed Supreme court nominees because Hillary isn't perfect?

There are 2 choices in this election, Hillary or Trump. Pouting about it, and sitting out or voting for Kim Kardashian as a write in isn't some form of high minded protest, it's idiocy. The same Idiocy that lead to George W. Bush being President "they're all the same" No, they fucking aren't.

Hillary might be a bought and paid for monster, but atleast she's aware that science is a thing. Is aware that a country can't just default on its debt and everything will be ok. Isn't planning on rounding up millions of people.

Start electing green party members at a local level, a state level, then senators and governors....but don't just let Trump squeak in the back door.

It's more of the ridiculous double-standards applied to powerful women, much like the fake Emailghazi nonscandal; sad she apologized. Scalia/Thomas/Alito fundraised for Republicans with the Koch Brothers -- not a peep from anyone. Scalia hunted and jetsetted with Cheney and refused to recuse himself from a case involving Cheney -- nothing but praise for him.

Ginsburg rightly calls out the media for allowing Psycho Donald to hide his tax returns -- cue the phony, hypocritical outrage and fainting couches. Whatever! She was absolutely correct.

How about when the late Antonin Scalia was trashing LGBT in public statements he made? When the Court still had to hear gay civil rights cases working their way through the lower Federal Courts, and could be expected to hear more? Shouldn't that have caused Scalia to recuse himself from the deliberations by the US Supreme Court?

WestCoastJock saidMy neighborhood Vote for Bernie club is meeting today to discuss who we are going to vote for and it is very likely we will vote Green party. Bernie sold us out to a person who is everything that we are against because she takes many millions of dollars from wall street and from countries that kill the gays. She is a corrupt insider and this is why all the Bernie voters need to send vote for the Green party.

Bernie "took money from Wall Street" for his congressional campaigns and for his Presidential campaign, and he is also the only candidate in the race to ever vote to deregulate Wall Street -- his vote allowing banks to engage in risky activity with swaps and derivatives led directly to the financial crisis. Hypocrital Bernie supporters to this day cannot name a single instance of alleged Hillary corruption, but we can for Bernie: he took money from Wall Street then voted to help them. #oops

It's also not true that Hillary "takes money from countries that kill the gays" as "countries" are not allowed to donate to Americans. By that logic, all candidates take money from "countries that kill the blacks" since they take money from Americans. What you're referring to is the Clinton Foundation -- not Hillary -- which rightly takes money from all over the world to do good works like fighting AIDS and building school. Very strange Berniebrats are opposed to charity, but irrational Hillary-hatred knows no logic.

    Facts matter.

I would suspect some people know more...
    4example:
Trump has or will participate in about 4,000 law suites. Court cases sometimes required note of tax records. Just to say these tax records exist, are in order ready to be released to the voters if trump wanted. In turn they just sit there secret sealed by the courts.

It should also be noted that Trump is ACTIVELY soliciting donations from Australia, UK and other countries. It is blatantly illegal, he's been warned.
