Here is a selfie (which by its very nature, a selfie is a picture of a person, taken by that person and therefore, when that person allows the selfie to be pulished, that person is fully aware of its contents and presumably supports the contents of the picture) of House Speaker Ryan with the current U.S. House of Representatives Republican interns. It's been pretty well published and commented on via social media. It's a pretty telling selfie. The most outstanding telling piece of the photo is the lack of color. Of course what you don't see in the picture is which interns, if any, are gay, Jewish or of any other non-distinguishable race or lifestyle. Although the interns are the bottom of the structure of government, they are like the rubber pads on the bottom of an aluminum ladder, supporting it and helping it to stay in place, helping to accomplish the agenda of the ones on the rungs above them.. I generally don't get into the whole political arena of discussion although I do have a personal thought about it all. I believe this is clearly an honest demonstration how this party believes and acts. And of course, Speaker Ryan's office had no comment on the picture and any implications it might present.
