Donald Trump is a unique threat to American democracy

A brutally honest assessment of Trump from the Editorial Board of the Washington Post:

The real estate tycoon is uniquely unqualified to serve as president, in experience and temperament. He is mounting a campaign of snarl and sneer, not substance. To the extent he has views, they are wrong in their diagnosis of America’s problems and dangerous in their proposed solutions. Mr. Trump’s politics of denigration and division could strain the bonds that have held a diverse nation together. His contempt for constitutional norms might reveal the nation’s two-century-old experiment in checks and balances to be more fragile than we knew.

Any one of these characteristics would be disqualifying; together, they make Mr. Trump a peril.

There is nothing on Mr. Trump’s résumé to suggest he could function successfully in Washington. He was staked in the family business by a well-to-do father and has pursued a career marked by some real estate successes, some failures and repeated episodes of saving his own hide while harming people who trusted him. Given his continuing refusal to release his tax returns, breaking with a long bipartisan tradition, it is only reasonable to assume there are aspects of his record even more discreditable than what we know.

Very accurate assessment of Trump. Especially the part I put in bold, which is also the scariest part. Admittedly, I have been sounding like a broken record on these forums with my constant "the pendulum eventually swings in the other direction", and this is exactly what I was talking about.

Accurate but the alternative is the unlawful Arkansas crime family.

President Obama's brother, Malik Obama, says he plans to vote for Donald Trump in November.

Malik was a personal friend of Muammar Gaddafi, and is anti-gay.
WTF does that have to do with Barrack OR Hillary?

If there weren't so many other things wrong with Trump, I wouldn't see lack of experience as an insuperable problem. A sensible, level-headed, and reasonable person could be a very good president in spite of lack of experience if he surrounded himself with good advisors. However, Trump does not qualify as such a person.

The fact is that more illegal immigrants arrive by air, not by crossing the border with Mexico. Moreover, there are more Mexicans leaving the U.S. than arriving in the U.S.

Anyone who has seen photographs or videos of the border with Mexico, or seen most of the border directly, would understand that erecting a border wall or fence would be next to impossible. Parts of the border are mountainous and there are rivers running across it.

No, I am NOT a racist cunt.

I live in AZ and I am tired of ILLEGAL IMMIGRANTS getting free things and they are not even CITIZENS. It has nothing to do with race! It has everything to do with being legal. Seriously, Radd, are you that stupid you don't see the difference? Look, I love latino and Blacks. I love em to death!! But, in all fairness, they need to be legal to live and work in this country OR WE DON'T HAVE A COUNTRY!! So get off your estrogen tofu and wake up!!

    P.S.
My Grandmother was born in Mexico, so LOL

2BFree just went on my "Ignore" list. What this country really needs are more simplistic blame-gaming like this. Not. Suggest something useful and I'll listen. Blame it all on X or Y and denigrate half the population and I shut my ears. We had enough of that already at the convention. Now it's time for the adults to work together to find solutions.

Many of the leftards really do loath those who expose the truth; it can interfere with their delusions.

I wish that was a Welcome to New York sign on the I-90 because that is exactly how my home state attracts more welfare recipients to help boost its declining population.
