I am curious about where people lie on the Kinsey Scale. Where do you lie? My curiosity was sparked when people mentioned going to women doctors and how they were comfortable about it here http://www.realjock.com/gayforums/4231965
I am a 6, never been with a woman, never will.

I think it depends on the phase of the moon.

...and whether I've been out driving in traffic. I'm pretty mysogynistic for a week after one of those episodes.

Generally speaking. I think when Kinsey used the scale it refereed to all your sexual experiences in total.

I am very familiar with what Kinsey wrote. But I think it's more fluid than that.

I have a husband to who i am dedicated to. Married or not we have been together a long time. So to answer the OP's question I would be a 6.

It is important to note that Kinsey's studies where not conducted very scientifically. Maybe because back in the Eisenhower days rock was still dirt and things were complicated. There was no choice. Gay sex was more than illegal it was a felony crime in all states till about 1960 or 80's. Talk about being in the closet, back than it was punishable by a lengthy prison sentence. We have come a long ways and no practical reason to carry baggage from the past. Eeeeew; trying to fit people into fixed linear categories is a silly, pointless and doomed exercise.

True but there is still guys that fit neatly in a category. I have been with a couple guys that were 1s. You and I fit neatly into 6 since we never been with women. I am not fluid, I don't do vag. I think it may be traumatic and wonder if I even could lol. There are also guys because of religious reasons are 0s. Of course there are other questions. You do not have to have sex with anyone to be gay or straight or does that make you asexual.

Alfred Charles Kinsey and the Kinsey Scale came from another time long ago. 100 years ago. Things were artificially make simple back than. Just because some one super smart squeezes out out a hair ball theory dosnt make it a fact, true for all time. Rather a building block for the next great thing.

sorry boo i was married to my x-wife. But married to my husband and a 6 is what i am now. I have no tendency to back track and totally purged my memory of the previous life. Otherwise called moving forward.

yes it was traumatic. I would not recommend taking the path I did. Tho all ended well for me and actually everyone; some days i wake up at 3am but cant remember anything.

i think the Catholic church was initially a haven for the LGBT population. The Church was a thousand years old when it finally took on the concept of celibacy. It was the keeper of music, written thought and logic. The Church is a homophobic mess now and serves no purpose other than to suck dollar bills from the frivolous lives people live.

I think I would rank as "5" on the scale, but it depends. icon_smile.gif

I've never read Kinsey so not sure if the code refers to desire or a sum of all activity in one's past. In terms of desire, I'm a 6. In terms of sex in my life, a 4.

The way it's explained seems like it refers to both. Part of what defines someone as a 0 is if they don't desire to have a same-sex encounter. I'd also imagine a virgin could still have a Kinsey rating. By the scale's explanations and the definition of asexual, it'd be inaccurate to automatically rate a virgin as X if they have desires.

Total six and a gold star gay!!! I was even a c section so I never touched vagina!! Also the church has always been about sucking money from people and oppression. It only put out the music, art, science that it deemed fit to learn. All else was wrong and illegal to speak of, punishable by death!!! Ask galileo or any medival scientist that spoke of the atom. The church has never been a haven for our kind.

    I'm a 2
"2 Predominantly heterosexual, but more than incidentally homosexual"

I like guys and girls so that's why.
I took this test once before and I was a 3
    "3 Equally heterosexual and homosexual."

Nothing has changed with my feeling towards the sexes. Maybe I answered something differently? I dunno.
    I'm a 3 in my head.

If you are unsure here are a couple tests
    One is from Buzzfeed: https://www.buzzfeed.com/awesomer/lets-talk-about-sex?utm_term=.ut07de4r3#.flAkgRwy6

    Here is another: http://vistriai.com/kinseyscaletest/

    I got from Buzzfeed:
Where Do You Fall On The Kinsey Scale?

    You got: Strictly homosexual.

You’re gay, and there’s probably nothing that will ever change that. As soon as you started having sexual thoughts, you had them for people with the same sex as your own. You’re only ever going to be attracted to people of the same sex, and because of that, your sexuality isn’t very fluid at all.

If were talking about the Kinsey Scale; at least have something better to look at.
