“I think a vote for Stein would be good — that’s the Green Party,” he said. “Because I figure anyone voting for Stein is gonna be for Hillary. So I think vote for Stein is fine.”

Pro-Sanders supporters who plan on voting for the Green Party run the risk of being rendered irrelevant by circumstances beyond their control. If (or more likely, "when") HRC wins, and the election data reveals that she won without the support of pro-Sanders supporters, this voting block will have lost its power and relevance. Going forward, that voting block will be unable to assert its policy positions in the political sphere with the same vigor and efficacy because it will have lost its cachet. So, I say to you, be careful what you wish for.

Bernie voters who vote for Trump or the Green Party will get a great big "THANK YOU" from Trump,
followed by a "FUCK YOU!" as they are told to disappear and let the rightwing run the country.

Yes & no. I see the ideas that Sanders championed as basic to the Democratic Party. I don't agree with all of it but much of it is how I've felt since I became politically aware and active very many years ago. And now that the Republicans have made complete asses of themselves, having hopefully lost their power to further if at all any more demean liberalism as they so successfully did over the past years, I'd imagine this is our future direction whether or not the bust people join in. The welcome mat is down, the appreciation flag is flown, the door is open but if ya egg the house we're gonna chase ya down. We're Democrats: We're not new to protest.

I look at this as nothing more than throwing off the scumbags. As the GOP empowers their scumbags, we're gonna spin around the dance floor one more time and toss ours aside. If they want to dance, they can take off their shirts and dance too.

Either way they'll win most of what they wanted. Sanders got 80% of what he wanted into the platform. That's a tremendous accomplishment in one primary. One primary. So one way they'll be happy, the other way they'll feel cheated. But they'll have cheated themselves out of a very fun party. Aw. More chips and dip for us!

I don't consider that anyone who was physically in the Sanders camp to then jump over to the Trump cesspool to have ever truly been for Sanders in heart and spirit. So I'd think they'd be welcomed into that sludge. Social democrats don't vote Trump. Some may go green but so far it looks like not even that.

I already did this thread http://www.realjock.com/gayforums/4233514 polling Sanders home state which I'd think telling.

It shows 54% of Sanders supporters in his home state to go Democrat, 4% Trump and 30% vote for No One, not even Green.

So Green even fails among them.

http://www.deathandtaxesmag.com/298710/harambe-the-gorilla-stands-a-better-chance-of-becoming-president-than-jill-stein/...After all, the myth the Ralph Nader voters handed the 2000 election to Bush still persists (he didn’t), so obviously people are concerned Jill Stein will do that for Trump. Stop worrying.

According to Public Policy Polling’s most recent survey, taken after the DNC finished, Stein is polling at a breathtaking 2%. To put this in perspective, Harambe the dead gorilla is polling at 5%. Harambe, whom I again would like to point out is both and gorilla and no longer alive, is polling just below Libertarian Party candidate Gary Johnson (6%).

Green Party's VP Candidate Calls Sanders' Supporters "Naive Shills". Says Sanders Wanted to Normalize White Supremacy
