Seven Years Later, Recovery Remains the Weakest of the Post-World War II Era
Despite longevity, total growth during this economic expansion is lower than for much shorter business cycles

Even seven years after the recession ended, the current stretch of economic gains has yielded less growth than much shorter business cycles.

In terms of average annual growth, the pace of this expansion has been by far the weakest of any since 1949. (And for which we have quarterly data.) The economy has grown at a 2.1% annual rate since the U.S. recovery began in mid-2009, according to gross-domestic-product data the Commerce Department released Friday.

Hillary Clinton and the Democrats had a great week. Donald Trump and the Republicans had a terrible one.

And suddenly you're spamming RJ with anti-Hillary, anti-Democrat posts. Coincidence?

Perhaps. But I rather think your slip is showing, dearie. Maybe next time you might let a little more time pass. And then you won't be so obvious.

I think you're right Arty.....Hillary did have a good week.

    - She's the first democrat the Koch brothers announced they won't oppose.
    - No indictments or arrests.
    - Made big speech without reading "sigh" off the teleprompter.
    - Illegals from sanctuary cities didn't murder or rape anybody. (that we know of, yet.)

Yep, a good week for Hillary.

And the extremist religious ideology that cannot be named has just stated that if they had been in charge of Western states, the slave trade would have continued. But no need to worry, Hillary will be on the job.

I'd take the 2.1% growth anytime, considering that we had one of the worst recessions in American history. Recession v. slow growth? I'd take the latter.
