I was wondering if anyone has or knows where to get lifting workout routines other than here? I like the ones on here but #1 the all involve tubes to which I hate taking and using at the gym and #2 they are a bit long for me when you include cardio....any advice or other sites would be appreciated!

Also if you want to share your workout I would love to chat!

    Thanks guys!

You´d be better off posting this in the workout thread. Over here we all eat chocolate and stare at each other in the shower while working out if the guy above is (fill in blank), flirting with Charlitos (OK that´s just me who does that) and posting LOLcats.

I tried to start a "what did you do in your last week of training" thread but it died. icon_eek.gif

I need an adult, RIGHT NOW

I don´t think that at least half the guys here actually go to the gym, and at least half the ones that do never lift anything but spend 30 minutes on the eliptical trainer. icon_lol.gif

Or at least that would explain why no-one talks training.

Thanks for the advice...Maybe I should have rephrased the question? I need to know which is correct for me...I am trying to gain a little mass...but seem to always look the same no matter how much I mix it up work heavier and more or lighter and less....

I also get tired of hearing ...eat more or lift heavier....

Last months Muscle and Fitness had a great workout section for either gaining 10 pounds of muscle or losing 10 pounds of fat.

Check it out...it will kick your ass.

I'd suggest getting a good trainer.

He should be able to help you figure out what you should be eating and when, or validate that you are already doing everything properly in that regard.

The same applies for what you are doing for workouts.

Of course, get a trainer that has managed to successfully put on some mass and is still extremely lean. I.e. don't hire the personal that's 21 and played football for the last few years of high school and has always been in great shape. He might know his stuff, but it won't be as credible with you.

    This is the frustrating part...

I worked out with a trainer... He showed me how to lift...and how to pick up weights...not get scared of them....stand in front of a mirror... use machines vs. free weights... eat...cardio...etc...

What I am asking is where to find a good program.... the 3 programs listed here are either to basic OR to difficult... as well as require me to be at the gym hours not including any cardio.... Also I dont like using tubes or workout balls when i lift...I want to use weights.... I don't want to do pushups on a ball then crossovers with a tube...then some cardio then dumbells flys on a ball... my gym is not equipt for me to do that....

Also please do not tell me to search this site or other sites...I know how to surf the internet, I spend hours looking for programs...I want to lift not surf...

All I am looking for is....

So Chest Mondays Arms Tuesdays etc etc....
I just cant get that down right....

    Thanks

ok, ok, take it easy, it's not rocket science.

    here's a decent split:

    Monday: Chest
    Tuesday:Back
    Wednesday:Legs
    Thursday:Tris/Shoulders
    Friday:Biceps/Forearms

    Do abs every other day.

    see? easy peasy
