I like those as well, though red plums are my favorite. Their so sweet when ripe, and i like to squish them up inside and suck the juice out. Just something I've done sense I was a kid.

Changes from time to time but right now I'm loving fresh pears with a little cheese.

Pineapple, plums, pears, cherries, cantaloupe, honeydew melons, apricots, and limes are my favorites - in no particular order.

    Forbidden fruit.

Mangoes give me a rash and I do rather like them.

Bananas have an appealing shape, and they taste good as well.

Fresh pineapple isn't that expensive when you consider how long it will last. Slice off the top with the leaves and then put it on a plate sliced side down and keep it in the fridge. Whenever you want some take a slice (with your kitchen machete). Although it is a bit of a chore to slice away the skin.

I like them because they have a mixed taste sweet and sour depending when you pick them ...not overly ripened..

I once hosted a business meeting with about 40 different people representing 20 different companies. It was a big project. I was more interested in ambiance than anything else. So everyone had a coffee mug, pen and zippered notebook at their seat with my company logo (we were the host) and I made a great display for munchies including veggies, bagels of all kinds with lots of choices of spreads, donuts (under personal protest from me) and an extra large wicker basket that was decorated with gold and silver ribbons and absolutely full of awesome fruit. Anything anyone would like. On top of the fruit I sprinkled Dove chocolates wrapped in a festive navy blue and gold wrappers. I should have been a corporate coffee-meeting planner. When everyone had left, the only thing left were the veggies and fruit, minus the chocolates. Brilliant people but eating habits of morans. Any kind of fruit is so much better than sugar and carbs any day.

Coat the plate with lemon or lime juice and it will last even longer.
