The_Polaris saidHere's the shit on just exactly who and what Roger Stone is:
He has a tattoo of Nixon's face on his back.
And it's not meant to be a joke.
It's to honor his hero, Richard Milhous Nixon (tied with George W. Bush for the worst president ever).
Not only that - Stone was actually involved in the Watergate scandal.
Only naïve fools and pro-Repub partisans buy the bullshit that Stone is peddling.
This thread is not about Roger Stone but about his analysis of the political scene.
If he has a tattoo, so what? Every time I go to the health club I see many men with tattoos.
In the Charlie Rose segment I posted, viewers were informed that he had something good to say about Nixon.
John Mitchell, Attorney-General and Chairman of the Committee to Re-elect the President (CREEP), jailed. Howard Hunt and G. Gordon Liddy (ex-White House staff), planned the Watergate break-in, both jailed. Charles Colson, special counsel to the President, jailed.
Watergate Casualties and Convictions
You say Stone was involved. What was his involvement and did he go to jail. Association, yes; now tell us the degree of his involvement and how consequential it was for him.
Your last sentence puts you in hot water. Charlie Rose does not conduct interviews in a manner to keep his audience naive; and the quality of the interviews are much higher than your implication.
