metaphysical beings such as God have no gender ... gender only serves one purpose and that is to reproduce ... God and other beings such as angles, spirits, demons have no gender. Does light have a gender? Does air have a gender? No. We know they both exist, but neither has a physical form. So it is for metaphysical beings. That is, they transcend the laws of a physical universe.

    1. Sir. I believe light and air do indeed have physical forms. Air is a gas, and light is represented by photon particles.

    2. Depending on the language you're speaking, both have genders! Grammatically, light is female and air is male in Spanish, for example.

Just annoyingly picking at your argument... lol. Have a nice day!

Gender is an evolutionary development of those biological life forms that utilize sexual reproduction. It might be noted that some life forms on Earth are asexual, and able to reproduce without sex.

An eternal spiritual being would not have been produced by biological sexual means, nor would it reproduce in that manner. And so therefore it would possess no gender as we use the term.

These questions have no meaning, and the statement is fundamentally wrong. As an electromagnetic wave, light has a very clearly defined and measurable sinusoidal form. Light also has energy and momentum, again defined and measurable quantities.

Air is a gas and most certainly physical. On Earth, air is composed of molecular nitrogen (78%), molecular oxygen (21%), atomic argon (1%), and traces of other compounds.

To ask if they have gender is spurious logic. Of course non-living things have no gender, but that has no bearing on whether a particular living thing (or allegedly living thing) has gender. My toaster has no gender, and that means nothing.

Merriam-Webster defines transgender as "having personal characteristics that transcend traditional gender boundaries." So does not God transcend traditional gender boundaries?

We arent modeled in the image of light, otherwise we'd be photons, but we are in Gods, and we have gender, so for man and woman to exist he must have both icon_lol.gif

Someone once asked me the question, "If we are created in the image of God, why are some born handicapped and why do we all look different?" My answer was, the image of God is not on the outside, it lives within. The very spirit God breathes in us to give us life or when he gave Adam life, our souls and sprit, that is God's image. If we read The book of Genesis, we see that God is in fact man. He created man in his own image, then placed man into a deep sleep, removing a rib to create a companion (woman). Later in the NT, God sent his son in the form of man. Does this maybe put this forum into perspective?

light is not a physical form. You can touch light, you can't hold it, you can't box it up and ship it across country. Sure scientist have come up with a way to measure different waves of light, but so far that I know, they have found no way to physically touch light.

Is air really gas molecules? If you use a vacuum to pull out all the gas from glass container you can still see through the glass container, so what is that in there? What is the space between and atom and a proton? Is that gas? What is the vastness of space made of, are all this supposed gas molecules invisible, because certainly if these molecules had some physical aspect we would not be able to see through all of them across the expanse vastness of space. Take water for instance. It has a physical presence and is made up of gas molecules, H2O, and you can see through it if you look through a glass of water, but if you have enough of it in front of you, there is a point where you can no longer see through it. It becomes a wall. So are you implying that there is no air outer space? So does it only exists here on earth?

Light is matter, mainly photons. Photons may not have mass but they are no less matter than electrons or protons.

Your argument is absurd. Put it in a box for you? I've already explained to you through basic science. Photons, electrons and neurons are matter and they exist. Just because you can't palpate it with your hands or touch it doesn't mean it falls under the category of metaphysics. There is no air in outer space. Beyond our atmosphere it is a vacuum. Sound needs air to travel. Sound cannot be heard in outer space. Air is bound by gravity and is responsible for scattering sunlight which is what makes our skies light blue during the daytime.

Ppl are saying that god is genderless and that gods don't have sex but that's not true in my books

God is energy and is depicted as the sun in my books, god energy has reined since the sun rose in africa, circle of life style....God energy taught us how to survive, technology, maths

Goddess energy is the moon, nurturing, influential, mystical and helps us to reflect on ourselves, and that teaches us spirituality, intuition and magic lol

And theres plenty of other energies in the cosmos who knows what gender they are and what offspring they made.

...it explains why we're always trying to please her and that nothing we do is ever good enough...

If space is a vacuum, then where's the cork?
If there is no air is space there where do all those gasses go from streaking comets and those tails streaking behind them, exploding stars. If all that dust and gas just disintegrates because it's a vacuum, then why don't the satellites, and rockets and, moon and planets?

    Look up the word 'Metaphor'

    boring.

    .............
Oh and as for light. there is particle wave duality. The photoelectric effect (shows light is a particle), whereas diffraction showed it to be a wave...enter quantum mechanics to the rescue.

So this is how you respond. Instead of acknowledging the fact that you apparently couldn't grasp fifth grade level science class, you bombard me with irrelevant questions that have no bearing on the topic at all? If you want, I can take the time to explain the science behind the tail of a comet and it's physical nature. But only if you promise not to prolong this weak attempt at grasping to your metaphysical, mystical hogwash and blatant red herring fallacy tactics.
