Recent news indicates that Pence might release his tax returns before the general election. The only question is, how long before the election? Although I'm not a fan of Pence's, I think he's doing the right thing by breaking with Trump on this issue. I think he should release his tax returns as soon as he files his 2015 (which apparently he has yet to file), since it's unlikely that his returns will be controversial. I still think that Trump will not release his tax returns regardless--I believe he has already made a risk-benefit analysis, and he's concluded that there's nothing but risks there. I saw that. Not sure what to think of it. Real curious though especially in light of other GOPers distancing themselves from Trump. Well, this guy's kind of tied in, isn't he? So how does he assure furthering his career after the fall of Trump?

Trump might drop out after Labor Day and Pence is taking over?

The difference being, there is probably nothing contentious about the contents of Pence's tax returns, whereas Lyin' Donald is clearly hiding a bombshell or, at the very least, something that would show him to be an even bigger hypocrite than he already is. Whatever it is, it's clearly something that's likely to turn off a good proportion of Trump's most ardent demographic.

DOMINUS said... he (Pence) should release his tax returns as soon as he files his 2015 (which apparently he has yet to file), since it's unlikely that ...
it's all a game of thrones for the Republicans at this point:
-for un filed taxes the IRS charges 3 points over prime plus a penalty. This is real money and NOT likely directly out of Pence pocket
-wonder what Pence's 2015 return would look like if he chose to NOT to release. Only releasing one return, wonder what 2014 looked like?
-you would think the IRS would take ~30 days to process a new filed return + payments so its kinda late in the game
-is the RNC offering Trump a bail out package and allowing Pence to step up?

Trump will NEVER release his 2015 return
