Things are getting desperate in the Trump campaign.

Donald Trump Turns to Combative Breitbart Executive in Staff Shake-Up

LAS VEGAS — Donald J. Trump has shaken up his presidential campaign for the second time in two months, hiring a top executive from the conservative website Breitbart News and promoting a senior adviser in an effort to right his faltering campaign.

Stephen Bannon, the executive chairman of Breitbart News LLC, will become the Republican campaign’s chief executive, and Kellyanne Conway, a senior adviser and pollster for Mr. Trump and his running mate, Gov. Mike Pence of Indiana, will become the campaign manager.

Paul Manafort, the campaign chairman, will retain his title. But the staffing change, hammered out on Sunday and set to be formally announced Wednesday morning, was seen by some as a demotion for Mr. Manafort.

Breitbart is even lower than the National Enquirer ... Mostly conspiracy theories and racist, white supremacist tirades.
This is Trump admitting that he no longer has a chance... He just wants to go out with the ugliest, loudest sh*tstorm he can muster.
    Congrats, GOP, great job again!

http://noisyroom.net/blog/2016/08/17/manafort-caught-secretly-routing-at-least-2-2-million-in-payments-to-lobbyists/...even more hilarious is the selection of Breitbart’s Steve Bannon as CEO… a vicious and predatory media hit man with leanings toward racist nationalism. He’s literally turned Breitbart into Pravda for Donald Trump. Which is apropos considering that BuzzFeed put out that he was accepting $500 per story at Breitbart in 2014 to favor Russia over the Ukraine. Think about that and then think about all of Trump’s nefarious Russian connections. Once again, Bannon sought Trump out just as Manafort did. Last but not least, former Fox News Chairman Roger Ailes has been hired to prepare Trump for the debates. Yeah, that ought to be great for PR and women love men who have sexually accosted other women. What a winner...

I'm not sure that The Donald is consciously thinking that, but the result will be the same.

Putting a senior Breitbart executive at the top of the Trump campaign... things are really gonna get crazy now.

Well, Republicans chose this guy of their own free will. The Breitbart tactic to deflect attention from the totally unqualified Trump will be to attack Hillary with every wacko claim they can invent.

I'm sure we'll shortly be told she's dying soon, she has Alzheimer's (where were the Republicans when Reagan really DID have Alzheimer's in the White House?), she's assassinated her critics, it's just gonna go wild.

And maybe the worst things are that the US is being made to look like a collective fool to the world, a disgraced & failed system that can produce a Trump as a Presidential candidate. And that a whole sub-set of US voters is gonna remain loyal to the tin-foil hat nuttiness of Trump after he loses the election.

A cancer in the body politic that will take a long time to cure. And that Republicans will want to encourage & exploit, for their own selfish political advantage.
