woodfordr saidThat lady had every right to say, "Excuse me, IF you're doing what I think you're doing, you're making me and everyone else here feel extremely uncomfortable and you're breaking the law. Please stop now." And then she should've reported him to the authorities if she was still so offended by this. (Not everyone feels the same way about this kind of stuff btw.)
Instead, what she did was verbally assault everyone within earshot belting out expletives and disgusting language as loud as she could and she escalated the situation by threatening to beat up the guy.... "What the fuck are you doing? Ya rubbin ya dick, bitch? I will fuck you up! You get your fucking ass up off this train bitch! I'm in that kind of mood today." Part of me wishes that guy would've stood up with his dick out and said, "Lady, if you don't stop your screeching I will slap you across the face with this!"
Lol EXACTLY! All I'm going to say is, this is why over the years, I've developed a PHOBIA of public transportation. Starting from the school bus fights all the way to taking the public bus to work in Miami. I just don't like public transportation. Because I get embarrassed when people, especially Black folks act a fool in public. With white people, you can laugh at them. With Black folks, you just want to hide.
This reminds me of when I was in Denver, getting my STD routine exam. This black lady was losing your patience with her 4 or 5 year old son. It was a quiet office, and me and her were the only Black people in the waiting room. All he was doing was pressing the water fountain button, and drinking too much water. Stuff that kids do. She took it upon herself to curse and yell loudly at the kid and on the phone, talking about how he was being "bad", and to stop touching SHIT.
That had me in a Bad mood for days. And when I told a friend, all he said was, "did it involve you?" Yes it involved me because she was disturbing me. I wanted to so badly get up and tell her to take that shit outside. Only person being bad was her. And tell her I don't appreciate her talking like that to a kid. Especially if I would have had kids in there. People need to start standing up to these vile Black bitches. I'm not saying throw them out the chair like that cop did in South Carolina, but people almost act like they're afraid of these bitches. It gives a stereotype for other black women. It takes a calmer and more mature and educated person to diffuse such a situation. Not just look around and laugh. You don't diffuse it by stooping to their level.
And Black men especially need to stop saying things like, "well it doesn't involve me". People always want to sit back and spectate. That must be an American thing. People need to grow a pair, and speak up. If he pulled a knife or gun, so what. There were dozens of people on the train. You don't have to stoop to their level, but someone should have been like, "M'am, I know you're upset and I don't know you..but i don't appreciate that language and you're disturbing everyone else on the train."
You'll be surprised. When you say something, people might just back off. I remember years ago I told a lady to stop cursing and yelling at her child at the bus station. She started yelling back at me, but I wasn't arguing back and it atleast redirected her anger off her child. **Some** Black women like to take their men issues out on other black men and that's not right.
