    Donald Trump has been advertising himself as a successful businessman who has made billions of dollars and is beholden to no one. However, an investigation into Trump's business holdings conducted by The New York Times shows that his companies have at least $650 million in debt — twice the amount that he disclosed in public filings made in connection with his presidential candidacy.     Turns out he's deep in hock to his arch economic nemesis, China - and to Goldman Sachs too (shall we call him the "King" thereof?).

    He also reportedly relies on a stream of lenders and credit to prop up his opaque and complex network of partnerships and limited liability companies

    One example is an office building on Sixth Avenue in Manhattan, which is indebted by $950 million. The two major backers are the Bank of China and Goldman Sachs.
