Sadly, race-relations in America have not gotten better under Obama, they've seemingly gotten worse. I had hoped Obama would be more of a cheerleader toward building bridges and improving race-relations but it didn't exactly work out that way.

That's what happens when you depend on government to fix everything. You wait passively, like a dog waiting for a treat, for your betters to improve your life. This is "community" - it is the commune, the plantation.

A "community" has no brain or mind, so a "community organizer" steps in - and is as stupid as the community he intends to organize.

The world white Liberals want resembles summer camp at best; at worst it's the GULAG.

Fuck this, fuck all of this, fuck it upside down and sideways.

As for me, AS AN INDIVIDUAL, "race relations" have always been great, and will always be so.

FUCK COMMUNITY, LIVE AS AN INDIVIDUAL.

    +1

I'm very disappointed in the Obama administration. Race relations are worse than they have been over the past fifty years. Since the US began bombing Islamic countries and territories back in the 1980's, more than half of those bombings have been under Obama's presidency. Is it a coincidence that Islamic terrorism is worse than ever?

Of course he did, stupid! He has been the biggest bridge builder ever! But what can you do when Republicans say no to everything? President Obama could find a cure to cancer, propose legislation to immunize everyone, and the Repubs would say, "Wah!! We can't afford it!" But hey, when Republicans want to go to war, hell, we could afford to invade Pluto!

Yes, actually I do. Obama failed miserably at improving race-relations.

Ha! You're funny. Based on results, you couldn't be more wrong. He hasn't built bridges domestically OR internationally

Well I would have phrased it a little differently, but our race relations issues are at the forefront again. I certainly don't blame our President, I'm glad he was elected.
I think it unfortunate we haven't been more progressive with change.

He has made a nuclear deal with Iran, and normalized relations with Cuba. He signed the new nuclear treaty with Russia. He negotiated a peace deal with the Colombian government and the FARC rebels there. That's four. He visited Argentina, to improve US-Argentine relations. That's five. And that is just off of the top of my head.

Who are you going to blame for all of the worlds problems when he leaves office? Oh right, Hillary! icon_lol.gif

I think you're right. He has made unnecessary and ill-advised statements that have made things worse. At times he has lost sight of the fact that he is the President of the entire country and of all Americans and not just a particular group. It's unfortunate because a lot of us (I voted for him twice and donated to his campaign) had expected better from him.

We GOT better from him. He has spoken about much more than issues of race. Google his successes. You might be surprised.

Old White Republicans went into a panic.
The GOP chose the Birther-in-Chief to represent them.
    Yes, there you have it.
The GOP chose to become the KKK.

Obviously, you are a blind, brain dead sycophant to the corrupt, incompetent Democratic Party. Get your head out of your ass bunk.
