Speed may kill, but it is left lane hogs that cause accidents in the first place.
(And the kicker is that many times they're not even involved in the accident they set-up.)
My pet sub-peeve is people who'll drive fast (say 80-85) on the open road (in the left lane, of course) but the minute they pass a truck, or worse a bundle of cars, they slow down (perhaps to 65). It's like teams who play down to the level of the opponent. You end up having to pass them going 90 so that you don't get stuck behind them the next time there's a clump of traffic.
Lastly, if someone is going faster, let them pass!
Why would you want someone going faster than you to be behind you?!
