http://www.adl.org/combating-hate/hate-on-display/c/88.html88 is a white supremacist numerical code for "Heil Hitler." H is the eighth letter of the alphabet, so 88 = HH = Heil Hitler. One of the most common white supremacist symbols, 88 is used throughout the entire white supremacist movement, not just neo-Nazis. One can find it as a tattoo or graphic symbol; as part of the name of a group, publication or website; or as part of a screenname or e-mail address. It is even sometimes used as a greeting or sign-off (particularly in messages on social networking websites).

The number is frequently combined with another white supremacist numeric code, 14 (shorthand for the so-called "14 Words" slogan: "We must secure the existence of our people and a future for white children") in the form of 1488, 14/88, 14-88, or 8814.

It should be noted that 88 can be found in non-extremist contexts. The number is used by ham radio operators to mean "hugs" or "hugs and kisses." Also, a number of NASCAR drivers, including several very well-known ones, have used the number 88, resulting in various automobile stickers and other forms of merchandise sporting that number.

Yup, birds of the same feather. Fortunately for the USA, there aren't many of them, as the general election results will show in November.

Meanwhile, a closer examination of Trump's 88 shows only 10 percent of Mitt Romney's military advisory council in the 2012 election appear on the letter backing Trump. Republican candidates typically have no shortage of military supporters: 500 retired admirals and generals took out an ad in the Washington Times to show support for Romney on the eve of the 2012 election. Romney also had 354 retired generals and admirals on his "military advisor council" — just 36 of whom appeared on Trump's list this week.

"The fact that there aren't any major names on the list — that it's short — that's what's surprising. These are not big names," retired Army Col. Jack Jacobs and MSNBC military analyst told NBC News of the list. "There's almost no name on that list that I recognized," retired four-star Gen. Barry McCaffrey said, who added he was surprised in recognizing just a handful of names despite growing up with a father who was a three-star general, and despite spending decades in the service himself.

In other words, because Trump's list is lame, it shows weakness rather than strength. Embarrassing indeed.

See http://www.nbcnews.com/politics/2016-election/trump-s-list-88-military-endorsements-seen-some-lacking-n643576 (reporting that Trump's list of military supporters is weak).

Power hungry much? Our military does not need "rebuilding", American people are just too stupid to know the numbers and some fall for this ruse all the time. This is why the process is called a BUDGET. If there was no budgeting, the military industrial complex could just fritter away the stupid American tax payers money like many republican pork barrel projects. How much more do they want? its almost a trillion dollars EVERY YEAR for the next 5. The need for "Rebuilding" IS A FLAT OUT LIE icon_eek.gif

Oh my the delusions, of the radical socalist liberals. It was a Homosexual German movment the Brown Shirts that helped put Hitler in power, with the promise of advancement. But the Night of the Long knives, put on end to that dream. Sad how the Libtards never learnt their lesson.

Among the 88...who endorsed...was a commander who once reportedly demanded President Obama produce his birth certificate, an Air Force general who was reprimanded for his role in a deadly 1996 crash, four commanders who were present at one of the biggest scandals in Navy history, and a special forces general known for spilling secrets and trying to turn military campaigns into religious crusades....
