Been noticing a lot of people here getting bent out of shape over things that don't affect them at all. Those same people are very good at "live and let live" when it comes to sexual matters, but impose their values when it comes to everything else. Obsessions include guys with tattoos, guys who shave their pubes, guys who won't show you their penis in the locker room, guys who vote for a different political party, the list continues... You know there was once a time when it was common for spouses within married couples to vote differently - their politics don't represent their entire identity.

I wasn't "bent out of shape" over the towel dance. Was merely curious. I just find it silly that's all.

"It annoys me a great deal... not sure if this is the kind of gym environment I want to be in."

Oh, forgot to mention our handful of older white men who can't stop talking about black people

This applies to Trump supporters as much as them:

I think a republican would date a democrat long before a democrat would date a republican. Democrats are so angry, and less tolarance for those of a diffrent political viewpoint. Democrats seems so narcissistic, that they are always right. I mean where is the love.

Leftswiper saidForums are most frequented by unhappy people, trying to find out what they're doing wrong, or venting. Gays are increasingly accepted, hence happier. lol

So gay forums consist mainly of marginalized groups or "lowest" white men, hence all the race wars! icon_lol.gif

Not sure where you live, but here, I don't see many conservatives willing to date anyone who supports gun-control and abortion rights. But thanks for the sweeping generalizations and self-contradictions!

Sanctimonious persons of all types and beliefs have always had a tendency to die premature deaths with the exception of today's world. Their worry and insecurities would often make them commit suicide or they'll simply die of heart disease or cancer (two diseases that many people had once believed to be caused by worry and insecurity, and which I myself still believe in). These people now get validated and have people acquiesce to their non-sense. As soon as people stop validating them though, they'll essentially be on the fast track to death unless they magically stop being the way they are.

There's a limit to which normal people are willing to put up with sanctimonious types and what we're seeing now is the artificial survival of people who are otherwise not fit for living since they lack the independent capacity to ever be comfortable with anything, most especially themselves.

One is blessed to call The world's most livable City Melbourne home. Now albeit, one does vote conservative as a general rule; but not always. I'd have no trouble dating a lefist. Saddly many of the lefist think like leftards, that anyone who doesn't vote like them is the enemy. Like albeit one is in a 25 + year homosexual relationship, gay marriage, is not a political issue for us. I support abortiion, but not as a irresponsible form of birth control with all the other choices out there. But b it is a legal medical service that is needed. I live in a country with tight gun controle, thanks to a conservative Prime Minister John Howard. But America's issues run deeper than gun controle. One does not support political Correctness, that the left tards use as a weapion, and too repress free speech. Nor does one support the propaganda of the American alphabet soup; GLBTIQ. We are not one community, and shoving many diffrent tribes under the same teepee, hasn't made us one either. Thus from what one has witnessed here at RJ, and in the Land of Down under, Oz. One can see a conservative dating someone from the left, before one can see a lefttad, libertad dating a conservative. But then I'm also very secure from within, and that would allow one to be able to love someone of a diffrent political view point. But one has found the gay liberals of America, and the gay leftists of Oz, very intolerant, and offended by just about everything. Of my, the orgy of the whining leftards getting off on being offended by just about everything. It's why one finds RJ so bloody entertaining.

Speaking of entertaining, I'm always amused by the two of you (or is it just one? hmmm...) who think they sound clever continually using the non-words "leftard" and "libtard", both of which just gave my spellcheck an aneurysm. Stereotypically speaking, aren't gays supposed to be more creative? You're better than that, sir. Try harder.

As for your actual point, I could see Oz being a little more "forgiving", so to speak. Extreme-of-the-spectrum liberals and conservatives here in the US, especially the south, which is far more conservative (and where I live), are like oil and water. Pretty sure neither side has any interest in dating the other. It happens, sure, but is uncommon. I for one couldn't date someone at the far reaches of either end of the spectrum unless they showed themselves to be open-minded enough to listen and critically evaluate a position.

UMayNeverKnow saidPeople posting to forums are just voicing their opinions. Whether or not you agree is a different story.

There would probably be less anger on the forums if people would respectfully disagree with one another. Quite often when I see someone disagreeing with a post, they hardly explain their own reasons for disagreeing on the subject, and will give a ton of reasons why they think the poster's opinion is so ridiculous (because you're being an old pervert/because you're a young whippersnapper/because you're a cheap slut/because you're self-loathing/because you're a trump supporter/because you're a hillary supporter/whatever) And sure, if you express any view, you're opening yourself up to criticism, that's a risk you take on any forum. But look how many topics have devolved into tit-for-tat squabbles.

If you're voting for a party that doesn't want to do anything about global warming, other than make it worse, or wants to ban gay marriage and continue the drug war, then yes i am totally fine with getting bent out of shape with that. Cause it does affect millions of people, and every species on the planet.

Really that should be about the most important thing to get bent out of shape about.

There might be less anger if the 'wrong people' did or do not troll the forums. Even after the RJ website update, this site still caters to gay men, who for the most part are liberal and progressive. What the conservposse, a lot of hidden republicanized people just here to cause trouble sees in this site, I don't know. Other than the old 70's SNL skit, "count-counter point" icon_confused.gif Republicans have turned everything into a "tit 4 tat" situation, its a sign of immaturity.

Its like going over to CNSNews.com and plaster trolling their editors with liberalisms from the gay community which I am sure would piss them off. But it would seem the gay community has a bit more couth than to stoop to the low life tactics of the GOP who is about to go down in flames very soon. I assume then this is why many RJ conservposse suddenly "disappeared" or went incognito earlier this year, doing what they do best, cause conflict while blaming others for starting it. icon_idea.gif

They need to go find their own website, but then there would be no immature, bullying "fun" in that icon_rolleyes.gif

"RealJock's members can also peruse how-to advice on workouts, nutrition, and other topics from leading experts in the field, read about gay athletes who are making a difference in their sport, and learn about gay sporting events and groups in their area".

Yep, this. If someone I knew was voting for DT I'd get a intervention going.
Most gays are voting for Hillary. But the sheer HATRED of her is coming from the far right/Alt-Right, who seem very well (conspicuously) represented on RJ. Coincidence? I don't think so.

Hillary is a pathological liar, but nothing from her will be bad enough for me to vote Trump. It probably takes a certain poverty and exposure to those AM radio freaks to get into that basketcase.

WestCoastJock saidI find the anger is directed at the Trump supporters and also the Jill Stein supporters. After we learned the democratic primary was rigged for Hillary since the beginning I don't know how anyone can support someone who cheated her way to the nomination when we have a real alternative. #VoteJillSteinFirstWomanPresident

Im not sure if its anger or just people pointing out what sad little entitled white men are, sometimes.

Trump supporters don't even know what they're voting for. In reality they're simply against the forces of progress that undermine the white privilege they cling onto to get up in the morning.

I can see why some will vote Trump as a middle finger to the establishment (or they're simply part of the Basket of Deplorables), so whatever Trump does is of no concern to them ---- but some of these crazies are saying he "won" the debate... how??
