He once again fawned over Vladimir Putin, who has invaded his neighbors and repressed his citizens. “If he says great things about me, I’m going to say great things about him.” It’s a telling comment: Trump’s sole concern is himself; the interests of the United States don’t come into consideration.

Trump repeatedly insulted the military. (“I think under the leadership of Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton, the generals have been reduced to rubble. They have been reduced to a point where it’s embarrassing for our country.”) A moment later he declared, “I have great faith in the military. I have great faith in certain of the commanders, certainly.” Hmm.

He repeated his nonsensical position that we should take Iraq’s oil: "Just we would leave a certain group behind and you would take various sections where they have the oil. They have — people don’t know this about Iraq, but they have among the largest oil reserves in the world, in the entire world."

Trump also seemed unaware in discussing sexual assault that there is a military system of justice. (“And the best thing we can do is set up a court system within the military. Right now, the court system practically doesn’t exist.”)

The guy seems unbelievably ignorant on such common subjects. For a while I thought it was just a speaking style or hyperbole, but I'm beginning to think he's really just loud and stupid. I know, I know, he's made a lot of money. But as a banker, I've seen a lot of loud, pushy people succeed. And U Penn? When he got in your daddy could buy your way into an Ivy. The practice was ending but it was still happening. He claims Wharton but actually it was the undergraduate business school, not the MBA program.

At what point does the Secretary of State, ANY US Secretary of State, have "leadership" over the Generals? First they'd have to usurp it from the Commander-in-Chief, the President, and the Secretary of Defense. And prior to 1947, from the Secretary of War.

Trump once again proving he doesn't know jack-shit about how the US government is organized or works. But he's smarter than anybody, EVERYbody. Smarter than the President, smarter than the Generals (don't forget the Admirals), smarter than the experts on any given subject. WOW! His Nobel Prizes must just be piling up. Sorta like the bankruptcies and lawsuits against him. icon_razz.gif

Smart? He made his money by selling artificial University degrees to the people of Walmart.

Seems to me he's of average IQ or slightly above. That means he can scam the half of the population under 100 IQ. Maybe catch some in desperate situations above that. Or maybe he taps into the greed of smarter others and gets them to work for him for free. How much money is there in scamming people? I've had dinner with this guy who's currently got this house for sale. To be fair to me, dinner was before I learned what a scam artist he was. Friends later filled me in. When the US govt finally shut down his scam psychic network--you might have noticed his Cleo recently dropped dead--he was fined I think all of $50,000 as long as he forgave the billings on $500,000,000 "owed" him.

Ya think he hadn't already pocketed half a billion before that? Here's the house he's selling...

How smart do you think you have to be to con people of lesser IQ into thinking they are talking to the dead? Since when is having money, since when is scamming qualification for president?
