In the immediate aftermath of the attack, it seems narcissistic Trump was more concerned with the size of his real estate, while Clinton actually gave a shit.

Both Clinton and Trump have particularly close ties to the tragedy: Clinton was representing New York as a U.S. Senator at the time, and Trump was a running his empire out of NYC. Clinton, along with Sen. Chuck Schumer, became a near-constant presence on television for commentary on the attacks. And though he wasn't known as a reality TV star yet, Trump was undoubtedly one of the most well-known New Yorkers in the city. Their reactions to the events, in other words, were not only personal, but very public.

There was a hallmark moment of Trump's general lack of awareness for anyone but himself. As Politico recounted from WWOR, Trump said of his 71-story building:

"40 Wall Street actually was the second-tallest building in downtown Manhattan, and it was actually, before the World Trade Center, was the tallest—and then, when they built the World Trade Center, it became known as the second-tallest. And now it’s the tallest."

Yeah, Trump was actually concerned with the size of his building in the immediate aftermath of the attacks. And as Politico noted, Trump continued to talk mostly about the buildings and properties in the days following the attack, speaking to publications such as Real Estate Weekly.

Hillary Clinton, meanwhile, sprung into action. Certainly, she was better positioned to take action as a U.S. Senator, but from all accounts of her that day, she seemed to be genuinely concerned with all those affected that day, and not about her personal real estate.

"We can’t let these evil acts in any way deter us from making it clear that the United States is resolute, and we are going to support the president," she told CNN. The night of the attacks, Clinton was on the steps of the U.S. Capitol singing "God Bless America" with her Senate colleagues.

    http://www.businessinsider.com/donald-trump-911-tweet-deleted-2016-9Donald Trump deleted a 9/11 tweet

Last year, Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump's Twitter account deleted a message that marked the anniversary of the September 11, 2001, terror attacks.

The tweet, which had been revisited by numerous tweeters as the billionaire was in the thrust of his presidential primary campaign, featured Trump extending "best wishes to all" on the anniversary. He added that those best wishes even applied to "the haters and losers."

Around 8:30 a.m. last September 11, the tweet was removed. However, a subsequent tweet in which Trump retweeted his own tweet, remains up on his account:

Asked why the tweet was removed last year, Trump campaign spokeswoman Hope Hicks told Business Insider, "It is from several years ago."

The Trump campaign didn't respond to a subsequent request for further explanation.

http://www.complex.com/life/2016/09/donald-trump-150-thousand-dollars-in-post-9-11-funds-claims-not-true...In an interview with TIME magazine, Trump said he was given $150,000 through the World Trade Center Business Recovery Grant, and that the money was meant for The Trump Building, where he allowed “many people, for many months to stay.” He went on to say he considered the money as a “reimbursement” and that the “value of what [he] did was far greater than the money talked about, much of which was sent automatically to building owners in the area.”

But according to documents obtained by the Daily News from the Empire State Development Corporation, those claims are untrue. The publication cites the forms submitted to the New York state government requesting the money for the Trump Building. In those documents, Trump’s company asked for funds not so he could be reimbursed for his charitable, but rather to cover “rent loss,” “cleanup,” and “repair.” Trump has also said the property, which is less than a mile from the World Trade Center site, wasn't affected by the attacks.

On the second night of the 2016 Democratic National Convention, U.S. Rep. Joseph Crowley publicly accused Trump of taking advantage of the grant.

“Where was Donald Trump in the days and months and years after 9/11?” Crowley said during his speech. “He didn’t stand at the pile. He didn’t lobby Congress for help for the first responders. Nope. He cashed in, collecting $150,000 in federal funds intended to help small businesses recover […]”

Though the federal definition of a small business is one that makes less than six million in annual revenue, the grant defined it as one that had less than 500 employees. Additionally, applicants had to be located on or south of 14th Street in Lower Manhattan, as well as endured physical or economic loss (Trump argues the latter). Under these requirements, Trump’s company was eligible for the grant as it had only 28 employees at the time; however, many people say they’re outraged because Trump’s "reimbursement" claim isn’t supported by the forms his company submitted.

“This is just yet another outrage in the consistent pattern he has of not telling the truth, and really showing almost every time he opens his mouth that he's somebody that's not worthy to be the President of the United States,” said Sen. Cory Booker told the Daily News. “A lie about an issue around 9/11 is despicable.”

It sure sounds like Trump was happy to see the World Trade Center destroyed because it elevated his building to being "the tallest in lower Manhattan."
Absolutely disgusting. Can you imagine any sane person doing this?
Every day it's something new that clearly shows Trump is sick. If he sought out mental health treatment, maybe he could be helped, maybe not.
But it's crystal clear that a person with this kind of mental issues is the LAST person who should be running the world's largest military and control over the nuclear launch codes.
It's a horrifying thought to consider the consequences.

Clinton was singing "God Bless America" while Trump was thinking "God bless my real estate, land that I love." He actually drew public attention to the fact that the Twin Towers falling made his own building the tallest in downtown Manhattan! Incredible! No one but an egomaniac could make such a self-centered and bragging comment at a tragic time of unprecedented massive terrorist murder. That had sent the entire nation into deep mourning and confused fear.

Then Hillary voted for the Iraq War.

    Today, she passed out:

You people are idiots. I must be the only person who actually listened to the 10 minute interview, which Politico kindly linked to.

Context, people, context! Trump was introduced as a well-known expert of the New York real estate industry and asked about his thoughts (as said expert) about the attack that took place mere hours before the interview. Not only was he clearly in a state of shock (as was everyone else) but he was also specifically asked to comment on his building!!! He had far more to say than the 15 second clip alluded to in the thread.

They are "useful idiots" because they parrot what ever their crooked DNC keepers tell them to parrot. After the DNC rigged the election against Bernie, I renounced my party membership.
I have renounced my democratic membership as of today when I changed my voter registration from democrat to independent.
As for the ultra leftist OP on here who is spewing his usual leftist hyperbole about the hapless Hillary ho and how she said this and said that after the horrible 9/11 attacks on the World Trade Center but they were all just empty words because she did absolutely nothing for the people of New York as a US Senator. She just used that elected post for her own self aggrandizement while Senator Chuck Shumer did all the heavy lifting and hard work. The Mary Queen of Goldman Sachs was all mouth and no action.
