I see so many guys seeking validation rather it's from their race or another.Just want to let you guys know. You gotta love yourself first before anyone else can. I guess I just don't care what people think. I can't be for everybody.

UMayNeverKnow saidSomeone who can be for everybody is called a whore - a prostitute, and he/she is paid to be for anybody.

That said, there's something to be said for those who push people away, whether consciously or subconsciously in word, deed, or a picture with a scowl on one's face and a sour post about others seeking validation and not loving themselves with the implication one is above it all by not caring what others think. I'm calling bullshit. Everyone cares whether they admit it or not.

You can call it what you want. I don't seek validation. Also the post wasn't meant to offend. It's mean to uplift. And while you might seek validation from others I don't. Maybe you should love yourself. Congrats on playing yourself.

Up lift with old, worn out, tired platitudes? Keep your day job. Motivational speaking doesn't seem to be your strong suit. Congrats spending your evenings playing WITH yourself. I have a man in my bed every night. icon_lol.gif

The only thing old and worn is you. I must have hit a nerve. I'm sorry I entertained some pathetic troll. I hope you and your man can stay up all night and come up with insults to hurt me with. I really feel bad for the guy that has to put up with you. Tell him I said I'm sorry lol.

I think that the more insecure someone is the more they will seek validation. And clearly those people don't love themselves because they're unhappy with their bodies or whatever and they're jealous of people who are just the way they feel they should be/look like.

However, at a very primitive level validation is natural for everyone. Even if it comes from people who you have no interest in. People want to feel desired/admired.

I agree. Again I'm not coming from a place of disrespect. I just want people to know it starts with you. We all want to be happy. I had my doubts at first. I finally started to look in the mirror and love who I was becoming. Now it's nothing anyone can tell to make me not love myself.
