Trump should not and will not release his personal tax returns

This thread is for the moderates or undecideds. I have no interest in any kind of dialog with Hillary’s ardent supporters on this site.

There are increasingly hysterical calls from Hillary supporters that Trump release his tax returns. Expect that to continue as the panic sets in over the results of her “deplorable” comments and the increasing doubt many have as to pneumonia being the main cause of her health problems. Add to that the fear of WikiLeaks surprises. Their demands will be a futile attempt to divert attention away from her problems.

Some have made the absurd claim that Trump’s personal return would indicate the success of his businesses.

It is traditional that candidates release their returns, but these are not traditional times and this is not a traditional election. The media has long had a left bias, but this time they have by their own admissions (e.g. NY Times article) and by their actions demonstrated they will act against Trump. Some have suggested that is an open-ended call to do whatever, throwing out any traditional journalistic rules.

Consider what the Democrats and media did in 2012. Harry Reid lied about Romney not paying taxes, and later laughed about his lie. The media tried to make the case that Romney could not relate to the common man because he had an elevator in his garage.

Suppose that Trump did nothing that his returns would indicate anything wrong or embarrassing to a fair minded observer. Would that matter to these Democrats and this media? Not hardly. They would take any deduction he took that someone making $30,000 per year could not take and suggest he was unfairly not paying his “fair share” and being immoral, or even deplorable.

Suppose his return showed a tax payment at a lower percentage than many others, using legitimate deductions and accounting methods. Is there any doubt he would be demonized? Do many people voluntarily pay more taxes than legally required? Have some such as Warren Buffett written a check to the US Treasury - General Fund to pay more than what the tax law specifies?

There could be some legitimately embarrassing things about his return, but releasing it would provide a complex feast for those whose only goal is to smear him by whatever falsehoods or concoctions they might muster. These are not traditional times, and the main ones clamoring for the returns are those who would never vote Trump anyway.

So let them stew in their juices as we await Hillary’s next “pneumonia” episode.

That's about the only thing even approaching the truth in your Trump apologist piece (probably a rehash of some nonsense you read on Breitbart).

We know you dislike transparency, which is why you and most of the (small but voluble) ultra-conservative RJ cohort like to hide behind sock puppets.

Trump already says that he will seek changes in laws that affect his business after he becomes the President. So the burden is on Trump and his campaign to explain clearly why is it that the voters who are voting for the President should be denied access to the nominee's tax returns.

His businesses are separate from his personal tax returns, so the point is not valid. If as President he seeks a change, that can be scrutinized at that point. Now it is a non-issue except those who will never vote for him anyway.

It seems to me that if his businesses are separate from his personal tax returns, there should not be any issues releasing his tax returns.

Has anyone noticed that Trump was pretty lukewarm and nonconfrontational on Hillary's recent pneumonia episode? Guess why. He's certainly not being nice. He's afraid that if he made a big fuzz about it, people would start asking for Hillary's (and thus Trump's) medical records. And guess what's going to follow after that? A demand for Trump's tax records. It's happening and the train has left the station. Just watch.

If you did not read the OP, read that and it will respond to your statement. BTW - doesn't matter what it seems to you.

Typical nonsense. When the enemy is imploding, stay out of the way and let it happen. No use acting like a bully and becoming part of the Hillary health debacle. Smart move having nothing to do with his taxes, despite your fractured attempt at connecting.

What does "fractured attempt" mean? And "connecting" what? Big fail. In any event, where's the implosion? Do tell.

Haha - "fractured" meaning broken - do your google search for fractured adjective. Connecting Trumps posture wrt Hillary health with his taxes.

Obvious meaning, Mr. Inferiority Complex. Trying to boost yourself by finding typos, grammatical mistakes, etc.

I noticed from your profile which you removed words to the effect "I'm probably smarter than you." but still there ..." I can do a lot of damage..." Trying boost both your mental and physical stature.

When someone writes that, there are two facts: A. Writer suffers from an inferiority complex and has low self-esteem. almost certainly the case and B. Greatly exaggerated extremely likely

Your consistent behavior only reinforces those observations. Waiting to hear all your degrees again. Wanting to be impressed. icon_lol.gif

Ahhh, very smart. I didn't know "attempts" have bones. Now you're a pseudo-psychologist. Good for you. Just, breathe and chill. Take the meds and your hysteria will subside eventually. I'm glad you've been tracking me, though, just don't stalk me like some of your colleagues. Did you take a screenshot of my profile? Come on, admit it, no shame in that. I feel like a celeb--you make me feel soooo important. Thanks. OK, ciao ciao.

If you were as smart as you claim you would have noticed "fractured" could have other meanings, e.g. fractured English.

Not tracking you. A while back I got the impression you were an arrogant asshole. About the time you suggested I and others were poorly educated and went to DeVry or some community college, which you looked down on. So at the time I took a look at your profile and observed your inferiority complex and low self-esteem. Often someone needs to put others down (even falsely in this case) in an attempt to boost themselves up. Not a medical professional. Couldn't begin to explain why you are the way you are. Same thing with seeing someone with a seizure. A lay person won't know the cause or cure but still knows something is very wrong.

By the way - you might notice some sentence fragments above. Maybe if you point them out, that will help you feel good about yourself.

Ooohhh, I like that. Now we're talking. Just don't fixate on me--that's quite unhealthy, even for you. For someone who's not tracking me, you certainly remember a lot of things about me (even verbatim). Ok, Dr. Bayguy, you win the gold medal. Get some rest--you need to protect that brain of yours, it's precious.

I'm an independent. Both should release health records and tax returns in Trump's case. Both should take tests to verify they aren't suffering from dementia or Alzheimers since they both display symptoms.

Hillary should wear Depends and hydrate herself properly. If she's taking bladder control meds, she should stop since they cause dehydration and fainting.

He won't release his returns because they would contain "deplorable" facts about his exaggerations concerning his "successes."

Would Mr Trump's Tax return no of already been assessed by thr IRS, so why make them public. One feels it's more relavent for Mrs Clitoris to provide a medical report to prove she is fit enough to compleate four years of presidency. Just as Mrs Clitoris reflects the depravity of herself and her deplorable flying monkeys, onto the Trump Camp. So do her deplorable flying monkeys attempt to deflect Mrs Clitoris health issues, by projecting the attention onto Trump's Tax returns.

I don't care about Trump's tax returns. At all.

Trump got my vote the first day he announced. Over the past year, I've seen so many people convert to fervent Trump supporters. And it has zero to do with his tax returns.

Many citizens of the rust cities of America were once one-eyed democrat supporters. But the Democrats have let them down, and now they are turning into Trump supporters; they don't see what they have to loose.

I've yet to read anything quite as hysterical as your justification for Trump not releasing his tax returns: "Their contents will probably embarrass him". No Pulitzer Prize for you.

I suspect the men on this site that support Hillary have female genitalia. Most of them are angry at society and want to elect a female president, because in their mind somehow this will validate their homosexuality. The same men need to take a stronger look in the mirror and spend a little bit more time in the gym and on their diet. This is real jock, not Facebook. Good points. One thing is pretty apparent. It does not take a degree in psychiatry or psychology to know the die hard Hillary supporters on this site have some serious mental issues.

And like most insane people, they wallow in blind rage and hatred.

Eight years of Obummer....yet, liberals are more angry and unhinged than ever. Maybe a President Trump will establish a camp for them someplace far, far away. For their own good, of course.
