Again, Trump shows just how thin-skinned (and ignorant) he is. How would this clown cope with real criticism if he became president?

Donald Trump has threatened to sue the New York Times.

In a tweet on Saturday night, the Republican nominee for president wrote: “My lawyers want to sue the failing @nytimes so badly for irresponsible intent. I said no (for now), but they are watching. Really disgusting.”

The tweet marks Trump’s latest attack on the press although litigation is unlikely to succeed. Under the precedent set by the Supreme Court in the landmark case of New York Times v. Sullivan in 1964, any public figure suing for libel must prove a defamatory statement was made with actual malice, “with knowledge that it was false or with reckless disregard of whether it was false or not”.

“Irresponsible intent” does not exist under any standard or doctrine found in US law.

Ever notice how any organization that displeases The Donald and that he wishes to attack is "failing"?

Of course he's probably the expert on failing businesses, having himself owned so many of them that actually did fail.

    - Trump Casinos (Trump Taj Mahal, the Trump Plaza, and the Trump Marina)
    - Trump Steaks
    - Trump Vodka
    - Trump Airlines
    - Trump Mortgage
    - Trump Magazine
    - Trump: The Game (boardgame)
    - Four declared bankruptcies

And of course the one still under investigation, with an indictment for racketeering a strong possibility, that directly swindled thousands of ordinary people out of their money:
    - Trump University

Trump would sue everyone, including his first-born, if/whenever he feels that his fragile kiddy ego is threatened. And it matters not if the lawsuit is frivolous. Imagine that fragile ego and those little hands on that nuclear button when a world leader pisses him off.

Here's an excellent speech by Clinton on the subject:

Clinton's Speech On Trump And Atlantic City

Now let's just look at this for a minute. Donald Trump says he's qualified to be president because of his business record. Now, three weeks ago, he said, and I quote, "I'm going to do for the country what I did for my business."

You know when he says things like that, he's probably hoping nobody will check up on what he has said. Because what he did for his businesses — and his workers — is nothing to brag about. In fact, it's shameful. And every single voter in America needs to know about it — so we don't let him do to our country what he did to his businesses.

Now, that is why I'm here today. We're standing in front of the old Trump Plaza Casino and Hotel. Donald Trump once predicted, "It will be the biggest hit yet." Now it's abandoned. You can just make out the word "TRUMP" where it used to be written in flashy lights. He had the letters taken down a few years ago.

Now ask yourself: According to the Donald, isn't he supposed to be some kind of amazing businessman? So it's fair to ask, since he is applying for a job, what in the world happened here?
