If Hillary doesn't govern more like Warren and less like Pelosi, she'll find herself in trouble in four years. I respect what Pelosi has done to fight the Repukes but an increasing percentage of Americans know the trend of all profits in society going only to the 1% is killing the goose that laid the golden egg. I know H will still have Repukes to deal with in Congress but the destruction of the middle class engineered by "Trickle down" cannot be fixed through social welfare programs. What Warren said to the Wells Fargo Chairman was spot on. I worked in big banking my entire career and in about the early 90's, everything changed and the game became to steal everything you could from as many people as possible. If you didn't, you were fired. If you objected, you were fired. If you pointed out the moral horror, you were fired. It isn't just the US, either. It is worldwide. People condemn Bill for approving the elimination of Glass-Steagall but at the time, all big banks world-wide were operating without the restraint and eating our lunch and it appeared to be necessary to stay internationally competitive. Or even domestically competitive in as much as foreign banks were moving into the States. Warren is stumping hard for Hillary because of the horror of Trump. But i hope she has some iron-clad assurances from H about how the administration will handle these issues.

This isn't just a Hillary, Pelosi, Warren, Bernie thang. What we are witnessing is the Refuclikunts finally losing their grip around the American throat. Hillary is not yet as liberal as I'd like to see her champion, but let's not forget that we are only now coming out of such oppression inflicted by the GOP that they'd even managed--with the continuing help of the likes of the OP--to turn the word "liberal" derogatory. Repeat that back to yourselves. Reflect on that a moment. For decades, people have been afraid to out themselves as Democrats. This is outrageous. Those scumbag Republicans did to liberals what they'd done to gays.

So what might seem like the liberalization of the Democratic Party is nothing new, that's just what was underneath all the dirt the GOP kicked on us. The liberalization of the GOP is nothing but a yuge mask. Pure fucking bullshit. And when tRump loses this thing, the Party of Trump will put back on their hoods.

Concerning Reagan, he popularized trickle down and exacerbated the redistribution of the nation's wealth away from the middle classes and into the greedy hands of the selfish wealthy. But that process had already taken hold a decade prior...

As to Clinton and Glass-Steagall, let's not forget what repealed that, an act named for the three little Republicans Gramm Leach et al.

To where we go from here, well, we first have to see where we are. We have finally got our feet out of the Republican elephant shit. Republicans have elephant shit all over their face. Should Hillary win, the Republicans have a chance to regroup around the chant of hating her. But also, now that so many see how absurd are Republicans, how weak-minded they are that they'd embrace out of desperation a tRump, Democrats not only have their feet out of Republican stank, but they've got a chance to again become the party of the people by the people and for the people. We'll see where they run with that.

Such a shame that so many who fall under the umbrella of the Democratic Party work towards tripping it up instead of taking responsibility to steer this great ship.

Maybe after defeating Trump, the Democrats can sit one out and see how well Green does on its own against the GOP. I'm gonna go peruse the internet for a picture of a laughing elephant now.
