For a candidate who has repeatedly vowed to be the best advocate for veterans, Donald Trump sure has a way of talking about them. On Monday, the Republican nominee stepped in it again for characterizing military veterans who don’t need mental help as “strong,” suggesting that those who do need help simply “can’t handle” the stress of combat.

    http://www.vanityfair.com/news/2016/10/donald-trump-veterans-ptsd

Here's Trump's full quote for context:

When you talk about the mental health problems, when people come back from war and combat, they see things that maybe a lot of the folks in this room have seen many times over and you're strong and you can handle it, but a lot of people can't handle it. And they see horror stories, they see events that you couldn't see in a movie, nobody would believe it, and we need a mental health help and medical and ... it's one of the things that I think is least addressed, and it's one of the the things I hear the most about when I go around and talk to the veterans. So we're going to have a very, very robust level of performance having to do with mental health. We are losing so many great people that could be taken care of if they had proper care. You know when you hear 22 suicides a day ... that should never be. So we're going to be addressing that very strongly, and the whole mental health issue is going to be a very important issue when I take over. And the VA is going to be fixed in so many ways, but that's definitely one of the ways we're going to help. And that's in many respects the number one thing we have to do because I think it's really been left behind.

"The fact that you possess a sense of morality, and we do not, gives us an evolutionary advantage. And if history has proven anything, it is that evolution always wins." Zod's chic, Faora

But is that advantage to evolution or just a fluke of nature. For here we witness the most powerful nation this planet has ever known which has one thing UNcommon to pretty much every other world power: NEVER A STRONGMAN LEADER. We're Americans. We don't put up with that shit!

Apparently tRump doesn't know we've long since descended from the trees.

If your brain isn't yet evolved to sympathize with others. If there's some disconnect to your brain that doesn't allow you to empathize, and yer not smart enough to fake it, that might make you ruthless, but it does not make you superior.

Trump should go fuck himself. I've heard he's a tiny penis so probably he can handle it.

When Trump "takes over"? Is that what a US President does? I find that the scariest part of his words.

Yet another reason to not let this psychopath ever sit in the Oval Office.

    I read this:

http://www.foxnews.com/politics/2016/10/04/trump-camp-slams-media-over-out-context-frenzy-on-ptsd-remarks.htmlThe Donald Trump campaign is firing back at the media over a slew of “out-of-context” reports and headlines asserting the Republican nominee took a swipe at veterans suffering from PTSD by suggesting they aren’t “strong” and “can’t handle” the stress of war.

Trump technically said those words during remarks to veterans in Herndon, Va., on Monday. But he did so while addressing how to help veterans suffering post-traumatic stress disorder and prevent military suicides.

And then I look at this:

And all I can do is say to myself, what the fuck does Fox & Trump not get.

He is specifically dishonoring vets by stigmatizing PTSD as a weakness in the very the fuck same breath he uses to stroke the egos of his own supporters by characterizing them as "you're strong and you can handle it but a lot of people can't handle it."

And our concern should be that someone took out of context from his campaigning to supposedly help what he obviously doesn't even understand? Jesus, ya put it back in context--as if it was ever taken out; it wasn't-- and it looks even worse.

Out of context, in context, either way, he's still in the wrong. Fuck Fox. Fuck Trump.

Trying to rewrite history again, eh, loser? The very FIRST thing Bill did on his FIRST day in the White House was try to executive order away the prohibition of gays in the military. The backlash he got from you Repukes was nearly a Constitutional Amendment against gay rights and seeing he didn't have the Country with him, he retreated and tried to minimize the damage. You make me sick.
