EU orders British press NOT to reveal when terrorists are Muslims

MEDDLING Brussels has said the British press should not report when terrorists are Muslims in a slew of demands to the Government to crack down on the media.

A report from the European Commission against Racism and Intolerance (ECRI) found there was an increase in hate speech and racist violence in the UK from 2009 to March 2016.

Blaming the press, ECRI Chair Christian Ahlund, said: “It is no coincidence that racist violence is on the rise in the UK at the same time as we see worrying examples of intolerance and hate speech in the newspapers, online and even among politicians.”

The report makes a whopping 23 recommendations to Theresa May’s Government for changes to criminal law, the freedom of the press, crime reporting and equality law.

they should move to an islamic shithole where those muslims came from or not even go that far, just go to some muslim ghetto in Sweden or France and exercise there their human rights and tolerance , I want to see how long those detached from reality EU commissioners would last.

The ecri is nothing to do with the EU. It's part of the council of Europe, a totally separate body. Try looking it up.

So this has nothing to do with the EU as claimed? More Radical right wing misinformation?

Thank you for letting us know.

You are correct, but the error was made by the source not the OP so you don't have to be an asshole. Does that translate to the King's English or is it too course for your sensitive taste?

According to my friends in Europe, the ECRI does represent the politically correct bullshit that has swept Europe and is giving rise to nationalist influences to combat the globalism that has infected EU.

Ironic, I remember when anti- globalism was a core left wing value. So crazy how that flipped around. My Brit friends the the EU was hated more than the Americam press was reporting.

European Commission against Racism and Intolerance (ECRI) is the Council of Europe’s independent human rights monitoring body specialised in combating racism, discrimination, xenophobia, antisemitism and intolerance. It publishes periodic reports on CoE member states and general policy recommendations. The decision to found ECRI was adopted in 1993.

    It's coarse, not course.
I was suggesting he checks his facts before blindly believing stuff printed in the British press, they aren't very accurate when it comes to blaming the EU and often wrongly attribute things to them (confusing the ECHR & the ECJ etc.)

As you and I know, the Daily Express is pretty much a fact-free zone - but then, you wouldn't necessarily expect a Trump troll in America, pretending to be a guy in the UK, to know that.

Thank you for catching the typo. Of course, the same is true with the media in the US. Much of what is posted here by a few anti-Trump zealots is BS.

Yes, yes as the pound plummets and people cannot leave q tiny island with little influence outside the EU which will break up now. Yes, yes. Great idea.
