Former [Bush Admin] Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice wrote in a Facebook post that Trump should withdraw from the race. Rice had long resisted weighing in on the 2016 race.

Arizona senator and former GOP presidential nominee John McCain said he is rescinding his support for Donald Trump. McCain, whose military service Trump derided last summer, had been critical of many of Trump's comments but reluctantly embraced the nominee during his difficult re-election race. In a statement, McCain said he will write in the name of a "good conservative Republican who is qualified to be president."

NBC News has confirmed that the Republican National Committee has placed a hold on the mail production related to the presidential election effort. "Everything got shut down figuring the right message to put out," a source familiar with the decision said. The story was first reported by POLITICO.

Arnold Schwarzenegger, the former California governor and the new host of Trump's former "Celebrity Apprentice" show, says he will not vote for Trump, his first departure from the Republican Party since 1983.

Another embattled Senate candidate, Republican incumbent Kelly Ayotte, also announced that "I'm a mom and an American first, and I cannot and will not support a candidate for president who brags about degrading and assaulting women."

Conservative radio host Hugh Hewitt called for Trump to step down.

Time to wake up and smell the coffee, Donald. The election is over, and you lost it yourself. And all the Kremlin trolls here on RJ can't save you. Bye-bye. icon_biggrin.gif

Bill Clinton is a rapist and Hillary blamed the victims.

Bill Clinton took advantage of an intern in the oval office (blue dress anyone?). Bill Clinton DID despicable things and is adored by the Clinton fans, Donald Trump SAID something.

Well, if Bill Clinton was running for President this might be relevant. But he's not. And BTW, when was Bill ever suspected of rape?

That's a pretty well-defined legal term to be throwing around. Please provide the evidence for legal rape.

Hilary stands by a rapists, an attacks, vilifies, and bastardizer the victims the by dehumanising the victims. But since Fart Deco has spent most of his life as a lie, we do not expect her to see this truth.

Evaluating Clinton’s presidency as heroic is no longer a given, however. After the bursting of the dot-com bubble in 2000, the corporate scandals of the Enron period, and the collapse of the real estate racket, our view of the prosperous Nineties has changed quite a bit. Now we remember that it was Bill Clinton’s administration that deregulated derivatives, that deregulated telecom, and that put our country’s only strong banking laws in the grave. He’s the one who rammed the North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA) through Congress and who taught the world that the way you respond to a recession is by paying off the federal deficit. Mass incarceration and the repeal of welfare, two of Clinton’s other major achievements, are the pillars of the disciplinary state that has made life so miserable for Americans in the lower reaches of society. He would have put a huge dent in Social Security, too, had the Monica Lewinsky sex scandal not stopped him. If we take inequality as our measure, the Clinton administration looks not heroic but odious.

Very interesting watching the establishment Republicans like John McCain and others drop like flies over the heat Trump is getting over the trash-talking tape of a private conversation. Should Trump win this election, I suspect they will all pay a heavy price for this. The name on the OP's list that gave me the biggest eyeroll is Arnold Schwarzenegger --- Now HE is a real pillar of morality. LOL

I'm not sure it would be something to rejoice over if Trump were to win. To the contrary, it would show what America had become. I'm hoping that we never, ever reach that point.

Think of the four years of satire we'll have if that women wins. Sadly if she does and her train comes off the tracks, it may not be a laughing matter, when America is not able to come back from it.

Lets not overlook, that when Trump made his comments, he was a potty mouthed Democrat, and his evolved since.
