Unlike the first debate where Trump mostly humiliated himself, I thought he managed to do ok this time, of course considering he has zero facts/substance to offer.

Also, I noticed the mods were somewhat prejudiced against him. I'm all for fact-checking, and there wasn't nearly enough of that with all the lies being told mostly by Trump, but that Raddatz woman basically entered the debate briefly when Hillary could have been the one to rebut his opinion on Mosul.

Both of them gave non-answers to a lot of the questions - Trump was far more prolific with the off topic rants - but I didn't recall seeing Hillary's non-answers getting challenged at all.

Of course I'm voting democratic anyway, but it's really hard to like Hillary and her insincere answers. She just praised Abe Lincoln's (and all politicians') two-faced "leadership"... so why can't she just embrace what we all know her to be and admit "yes of course I have and will lie again and again, that comes with the responsibility of knowing more about this country and its secrets than everyone in this room/building/state combined", the same way Trump proudly embraces his tax evasion lol

Then there's her weak compliment for Trump's family to avoid actually complimenting Trump. I hate Trump's guts, but just about everyone can at least admire his ability to connect with voters and tap into their deep seated feelings. He on the other hand at least answered one question properly tonight icon_lol.gif

Yep that women want to see America have open borders; how's that going to work for America?

Of all the Trump/Hillary threads, I'm going to choose this one to post in since it hasn't totally descended into mindless mud slinging yet.

I agree with OP that while logic and facts favor Hillary, she came across as fake and secretive about things she didn't need to be secretive about. She's not convincing anyone when she puts on the folksy charade, and it solidifies Trump as the candidate for those who are cynical and disillusioned. A better strategy, like OP said, is to own up to her true nature, and prove that she can be equally straight talking and unfiltered. Instead of deflecting about the basket of deplorables, thereby making her appear guilty of saying something wrong, affirm that there's nothing wrong with saying there are bad people in this country, and that yes, racists, bigots, homophobes, and others who want to divide the country are not her target voters - Trump can have them! Missed punch.

When you're winning, don't change the game plan. H tried to simply answer the questions, show detailed knowledge, and let Donald continue to self-destruct. Ya know, I know the Republicans have spent 24 years creating the myth that H is some bad person who lies, which is horse shit, she does play politics, and she certainly has reason to be secretive with Republicans' never-ending taxpayer funded witch hunts, but the only real thing I can see that she's lied about was her reason for setting up the server in her basement, and that was because she knew at some point the Republicans would be pawing through her every word looking for anything to try to smear her. Remember Travelgate? Her FIRST week in the White House, she was given attitude by Bush appointed people so she fired them and appointed her own. That escalated to murder of her friend Vince Foster and the Republicans have been pulling the same bullshit ever since. And smears everyone who ultimately investigates and call BULLSHIT on their bullshit. I do think she's avoiding saying something most all of us have been going through and that's a re-evaluation of free-trade economics. But on that count I'll give her a PASS, too, because she has the enthusiastic support of Elizabeth Warren. I don't believe EW would be spending so much time and political capital on Hillary if she didn't have a deal. It will be interesting to hear what that deal is but I truly believe if EW is behind it, it will be good for the Country.

It was entertaining. They're both losers trying to win a rigged election. I think Trump the is hopelessly ignorant when it comes to foreign policy (regarding Russia), and that's dangerous enough. Hillary on the other hand has a more calculated plan to deal with Russia. She's sketchy, fake and I don't like her. Trump is just playing a controlled opposition, expanding his brand. He clearly doesn't want to win this as bad as Hillary does.

I guess for those who has decided at this point to dislike either Hillary or Trump they should look at their favorite political leader, whose has unimpeachable judgment, and ask themselves: who are these political leaders rooting for?

Those stupid ass hitlery supporters would vote for that ugly deplorable bitch if she had a gun stuck to a babies head. Her supporters are the cancerous plague that should be wiped from this fucking country. Bunch of stupid ass uninformed hypocrites. Me and my boyfriend are PROUDLY supporting donald. Who gives a flying fuck about a goddamn video that happened over 11 years ago. Since they want to play that game, then why dont we bring up the video where HITLIARY supported traditional marriage ONLY back in 2000? Oh thats right i forgot, if you're a democrap, then that's ok....they are fucking sickening.

Better than humping you. He'd have to fight though all the cobwebs first, to only find rust.
