Wikipedia: According to Forbes tax blogger Peter J. Reilly, Stein had yet to release her tax returns by July 2016. Despite promising to release her tax returns during her 2012 campaign, she never did. In August 2016, the first two pages of Stein's 2015 tax return were on her website.

Only two pages of the 2015 reveal that Stein took $57,229 in deductions from their taxable income. These deductions are legal, but they point to a delicious irony: the Green Presidential Nominee who rages against high earners paid a lower effective tax rate than blue-collar workers, saved herself thousands using many of the tricks that Donald Trump used.

Her income in 2015 is reported at about $349,088, which sum came from numerous interest and dividend income. Tax expert indicates that Stein has about $2 million in assets. The expert also concludes that Stein virtually gave nothing to charity.

Had you left off the 2nd part of the title I'd have thought the reference was to her poll numbers.

Alt-Metta will be in shortly to tell us why Jill having no foundation in charity is better than Hillary's charitable foundation.

Funny thing about the tax laws is you are forced to obey them or come up hard against a really aggressive government agency. Do you suggest she donate to the IRS?

Duh, Jill is NOT a one percenter:

She’d have to make $434,682 in adjusted gross income to make the cut, according to the non-partisan Tax Foundation.

And to rank amongst the highest 1% of Americans by wealth? That requires net assets of more than $7 million, based on the latest Federal Reserve figures.

Since Jill likes solar energy so much, let's dump the toxic manufacturing byproducts from solar panels in her back yard.

We can also bury the carcases of rare birds shredded by wind turbines in her yard.
