I think I'll shave from the top down and wear my belt and singlet to The Gayborhood!

Hey, man, it was a big hit last year.

    ROFL.

(Here comes my little flamer buddy. If nothing else, he's fun to watch.)

Ignoring it if that is possible, since I live close to the gay ghetto in Toronto. Hated Halloween as a kid and have not warmed up to it much since.

My partner and I will be moving to a new house that day! Can't really speak for him, but by nightfall I'm probably going to be too tired to do anyting but hand out candy to the little critters who come by. Later, I'm sure we'll consummate the new home in the "appropriate manner," of course (read: have loud, gratuitous sex in every room)! Costumes then? Who knows.... icon_twisted.gif

PS---MikemikeMike: You're 100% right... The Village on Halloween is the best place to be hands down!

Well I love Halloween, but living a little south of Detroit there doesn't seem to be much hope for parades or parties that I know of. Anyone here know of any?

I'm getting into the american spirit and celebrating halloween. Two of my friends are having parties, so I have to think of a costume!

What costumes have worked for you guys in the past?

I usually stay at home and hand out candy. I buy full-sized candy bars so that all the kids in the neighborhood think I'm a great guy. If I buy the candy at Costco it costs around a hundred bucks. I'm a total curmudgeon when it comes to every other holiday, so I don't mind spending money on Halloween. It all evens out when I don't put up a Christmas tree.

I'll be going out... dressed as a pirate... kinda. I'm wearing Andrew Christian square cut swim wear with a skull and crossed swords on the side in little metal studs and an eye patch.

I was inspired when i went to see Pirates of the Caribean 3 and there were people in costume. Thought that was the oddest/funniest thing i have ever seen.

The actual night i will probably go to my friends house and cook and things like last year and hand out candy and watch movies. We had a Gay halloween last year and watched movies like "Phantom of the Opera".

i live for Halloween. Best holiday EVER! icon_twisted.gif

I see that the local adult novelty store has a sign advertisng "halloween costumes." I may have to stop in, just to piss-off the church ladies picketing out front. Of course, one could always go as Rev. Gary Aldridge.

Rocco: A bunch of people showed up at POTC here, dressed as pirates, but only one guy (besides me) showed up at Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy with a towel.

Not alot here for me this year for Halloween. One of two things will happen. One, I go back to Sioux Falls South Dakota to welcome my friend out of jail. Two, I din't like the flight rates and I stay in seattle. Seattle would be the best choice cuz come on...South Dakota sucks. Still no Costume planned. Usually something that doesn't require alot of clothing. Imagin that. I was thinking wrestler, singlet and all that but I don't own one and not sure if I've the time to find one. Any suggestions guys?

One year, when I lived in Phoenix.... I painted myself green, and went as The Miniature Hulk. It was a big hit.

All it took was two things of green makeup paint, and a friend, and I was squared away.

Oh, man...did I get tanked that night.

Well, different from most of you, I'll be dancing the anti-morris dance described in the Terry Pratchett novel Reaper Man, and then performing in a traditional English Mummers play as we go from house to house, and attempt to get drinks from the people there.

Partner will dress up in something scary and I will wear a convict's stripes, funny (I hope) but not scary. We do the "good cop, bad cop" game with the neighborhood kids (about a hundred) and will comment to ourselves about all the cute daddies we see. Probably pretty boring for most of you younger guys, but we have a blast.

And when the kids are gone, we eat all the candy we can stand.

I'll be taking my boys out trick'r'treating - my 4 yr old informed me that I have to be Cap'n Jack Sparrow. So I've been practicing slurring my speech much to his delight.

But, if the stars align, I might get out to the west coast area for 4-5 days to visit family and friends and catch a Halloween party on the weekend.

I'll be Captain Jack or V...odd choices, its funny, I'd rather be V, I think that'd be sweet, plus I wouldn't have to act so much...I don't need to stay in character the whole time aaand I'll probably head to a house party+club, its gonna be a Halloween week....it'll be prolly be snowing by Halloween here...

Ok, so my Halloween starts on the 20th and will end on Halloween . . . kinda.

On the 20th, I am going to my theatre department’s P&H Party. I am going as an S&M Dom. I have black leather boots that go to my knees, silver tights under fish nets, tiny black boxer briefs, a halter top and collared corset, black “Cat Woman-leather” gloves that lace up the sides, a chain choker, a belt with hand cuffs hanging from it, and a faux hawk. If I have some time I am gonna go and get one of those stick whip things. I secretly plan on getting a lot of use out of this costume in the future. icon_wink.gif

One of the many nights of Halloween, I am gonna be a Nathanized version of a Death Eater. It is a cloak that is black with little silver specs in it (And the inside is the reverse, silver with black specs, that will show when I walk). I am tempted to make a type of corset like belt to go and give some accent to it. And then of course, the silver carved Death Eater mask. It will look both so creepy and so entrancing at the same time.

Another thing that I might do as a joke is go as Marilyn Monroe. My friend bought a dress, she then decided no, so gave it to me. If I have time, I might do it over normal clothes cause I did the Drag Queen thing last year and, thought it was fun, no thanks. Who knows, it might make for a nice joke sooner or later . . .

On the 30th, my play opens. So, I am booked for a week from like 6:30 to 10ish. (It is gonna be AMAZING and so funny-slash-awesome!!!!) BUT on Halloween, I will be the one, the only, the incomparable, the wicked, the Mistress of all Evil,
    !!!!THE MALEFICENT!!!!
I have the Horns and am almost done making the costume. I can’t wait, it will be too cool.

I’ll be sure to post pictures of all the above for all of you to see. icon_smile.gif

Good replies, Tiger brings up a great point. What was your funiest, easiest, scariest, sexyist, most outta hand costume ever? I don't like to dress up, but 4 yrs ago when I was single, I went as an army man. It was easy camo army pants from an army navy store, black lace up boots a hickey and dog tags- that's it. It was 70 degrees in the city that year. Alot of fun!! Got looks was good for the ego at the time.icon_cool.gif
