The hate towards this women I seen come from the american homosexual community is tattooed in my memory. It's left a lasting impression on me of the American homosexual community. The double standards. It's intolerance.

But now I am left to ponder: How diffrent she would look, if it was Obama she was backing?

Why do American homosexuals feel so threatened by Christianity?

    We Aussies/ Australians are not!

Maybe because it's hateful and intolerant?

    Or because it's immoral?

I truly thank you for your reply, without abuse! After all I am a pure homosexual, and I have been abused by Catholicism myself, as a child. They also just reappointed a Bishope who denied the Holocaust ever come to pass.

I am the kind of guy who is able to talk about anything. But yet, so many American homosexuals have issues with this! I have issues with censorship, as people like Starlin, Hitler , and even today. North Korea, uses it to repress.

But I still don't understand why American homosexuals felt so threatened by Ms Palin because of her faith?

For me it wasn't her religion. I couldn't care less if she was a christian. It was the way she never seemed to take anything seriously. I believe in cutting loose and having fun, but if you're going to be the vice-president, you should conduct yourself in a more reserved fashion (imho). If I can't take the vice-president seriously, how could the rest of the world?

I don't think anybody feels threatened. Rather, nobody wants to clean up the mess she makes in either her box or the backyard.

Can't say I like Sarah Palin, but I'm not sure who this "Sahra Palin" you speak of. Is she related?

    I miss her.I really do.

I keep a cobra commander action figure at work to remind me that she is still close and near to my heart.

The only reason I like her is to make fun of her. It seems she has this cloud of ridiculousness around her. Kind of like this video:

i agree. i miss sarah palin, but only because of the endless entertainment she provided. her clips with Katie Couric were pure comic genius. i enjoyed the SNL skits, but the actual clips are leap years better. i can only dream she will decide to run for presidency in 2012.

for me it was a couple of things

    1. Her true lack of knowledge on substantial issues. One news outlet described her as a typical well informed citizen. Well I think you need to be a little more than that to be the Vice-President.

    2. Hypocrisy over her unwed child pregnancy. I personally have no issue with it. But when you (Sarah Palin) and your party have strong opinions about family values and do not believe in pre-marital sex and have actually crucified celebrities and their families ( Jamie Lynn Spears etc and her parents) over how awful and what bad parents they must be for having a pregnant unwed teenager, but then when it is Sarah Palin there was praise for the choice to keep the baby and overcome "challenges" and how their belief in god is getting them through this tough time. It just is a little too much for me.

I think that your conclusion that people dislike Sarah Palin because she is Christian is fundamentally flawed. There are many reasons to feel uneasy about Gov. Palin including the fact that she doesn't think gays and lesbians should have the same rights as straight people.

I assume that when you ponder about if she would look different you are imagining the gay community some how embracing her or at least not having such distain for her had she backed Obama. Well, we actually have a litmus test on this one. Obama had Rev. McClurkin support him early on and it did nothing for McClurkin's image in the gay community and in fact hurt Obama. So, I would say she would probably not be viewed much differently.

In the end I think you are asking the wrong question. It isn't why homosexuals feel threatened by Christians, but rather why do so many Christians feel threatened by homosexuals?

Perfectly stated! And it's because they're jealous. We're better looking and have bigger cocks.

I think Sarah is a sweet lady to watch on TV, like she was amazing entertainment for SNL, and kept me up in the late hours watching it. But her as a politican, no, she is not a great politician, at all. She is just not a good candidate for politics. As far as her religion, I am not a fan of intolerant Christians, and she is an intolerant christian. Pray away the gay, my god, how dumb can one be?

Look I really don't understand this mind set, and to me it's not really being a Christain either. But her Church is not her, it's a building she goes to. But I don't feel threatened by it. We know we are born, and are not going to go away. Just as I'm not from here (going away), no matter how much some want me to!

And Mc Gay has used exactly the same thing to attack and abuse me. I'm not a Christain, but a pure homosexual! Last March I first talked about. How in may of 1999; almost Ten years ago. I first started t talk about what you Americans now call 9/11. This was not an attack on the gay community. But Mcgay felt threatened by it. and his vitriol from that time has never stopped! I truly fail to see why he felt so threatened. Was it that maybe there is a God? If there is? I can tell you guys. He loves most of us!

It is People Like McGay, who is holding you guys back, not Ms Palin!

And I truly thank you for that reply. But Ms Palin was not treated equally i the media either. Obama's ask for space for his children and family, they give it to him. Ms Palin ask for the same thing, and hell no way?

But Thanks Guys. I truly am trying to understand this, and there is such a big difference between us Aussie, and Australian brothers, and our American brothers.

You know our last Prime Minister. Mr Howard is a Christain. He was always clear he would never give homosexuals equality, as it was so un Australian. You know, he still got my vote, because I felt he was the best choice for Oz. maybe not me, but for Oz. I put my love of my country, before my wants!

The fact that we would have supported her if she was on Obama's side just proves that it wasn't sexist.

You're such a kook! Why are you bringing up Sarah Palin?
