Finally, there is a rare type of fiber in dandelions called inulin, and some people have a predisposed sensitivity or allergy to it which can be quite severe. When first adding dandelion greens to your diet in any way, start small and closely monitor your body’s response.

I have read that chickory is good for people with Blood Type O.
The fiber I take is chickory. The ingredients include inulin.

If it was not for looking up Dandelion Greens, I would not have known the warning about inulin.

    What is inulin?

Yes, I've noticed a mild skin reaction from dandelion but also a skin healing elsewhere from dandelion.

I have heard of people adding chickory to their coffee which I was told could make the taste of coffee a little on the bitter side.
