NYT: Sean Spicer said that President Trump’s unsubstantiated claims weren’t meant to be taken literally.

Scum Trump will do anything to create a diversion from the fact that his first month in office has been a total failure.

God, how Melissa is a piece of work - that he's always coming up with a new version of what Trump previously said.

And does anyone believe Trump when he says anything factual or predictive? Every time he opens his mouth it's a new lie. Those middle class out-of-work supporters of his are sooooooo gullible.

I never listen to what the Donald says and I wish the news media would stop covering his every prevaricating utterance. We should just watch Alec Baldwin on SNL to get the true Trump picture.

    Woodsmen.
Can you find the part were he said they were not meant to be taken literally? Air quotes is not saying not meant to be taken literally. Your dishonesty abounds.

The DOJ will provide info to the committee.

And it seems when liberal rags like the NY Times suffer from information blackouts they just start making shit up.

Yeah, but no one makes shit up like Trump and the Breitbart team in the West Wing.

Trump asked Congress to investigate so Spicer's fantasy walk back doesn't work.

Ironically, it was the NYT that originally reported that wiretapping was going on --- on their front page no less. I'm going to wait and see what the DOJ comes up with. Would not be the least bit surprised if on some level there is some truth to Trump's accusation. Strange that the DOJ asked for an extension to respond.

"This is what makes covering Donald Trump so very difficult. What does he mean when he says words?"

But not reported as being conducted by Obama, as Trump specifically claimed.

And why would you quote the Times anyway? A failing newspaper, that prints fake news? Isn't that what you believe?

I thought we were supposed to see what's in heart, according to Conway. Or is it the microwave that turns into a camera? By the way, I want one, but only if it's Android.

Well, Conway seemed to implicate other household appliances, aside from microwaves. I guess I better steer clear of our coffeemaker, too. And that countertop oven - it looks pretty suspicious to me. But the KitchenAid stand mixer seems pretty innocent, and I see no danger in the Forman grill, or the Cuisinart food mixer. Hard to imagine any risk from the KitchenAid toaster, or the blender, either.

I think Kellyanne needs to publish a list of what kitchen appliances are spying on us, so we can be sure. I never realized we have this clear & present danger in our own kitchens.
