    Hey guys-
In about 2 weeks, I'm heading to Savannah, Georgia for spring break...just wondering if anyone knew of any must see places or hot spots that I should check out on my trip.

I've never been, so any tip are appreciated! icon_smile.gif

I lived there for about 18 years. It mainly has many places of historic interest to see. Downtown, take a walk down and around Riverstreet .. it has lots of shops and restaurants -- on weekends the nightlife there is active. There are lots of good places to have seafood and other southeast cuisine.

If you like architecture there are tour buses that will take you around the various historic buildings and squares that have been restored. Also downtown there is a gay club (Club One if it is still there). It's probably more fun if you are there with friends.

I'll post more later if I think about it.

that's a good place for downtown, you should be able to walk to most places right in the downtown historic area and I believe it is right on river street. I am not sure what you like to do when traveling though.

We are making a road trip out of it, and will have a car.
I've never been, so just wondering if anyone knew of any hot spots worth checking out...both during the day and for nightlife.

All the tips so far are greatly appreciated.

    Paula Deen, in other words.

She ain't there much lately; too busy globe-trotting.

I'd rather go there for Bobby Deen

We're hoping to eat at Lady & Sons....but they don't take reservations for parties smaller than 10 people. Wish me luck. icon_neutral.gif
