    Hey guys,

I am a journalism student and am writing a feature story on homosexual dating via the internet.

My angle is really trying to find students in college that use the internet for dating OR hooking up, but anyone is welcome to respond. It would be really great to find someone that has had a successful relationship by meeting online so I could interview them for a great feature in my story. But any stories are welcome.... Just message me so I can connect with you and ask you some questions!

All the help is great appreciated. Thanks!

i recently reconnected with a guy i used to row with in high school. We went to different schools but used the same lake. I moved an hour away, and he just happened to show up at my store one day, now 5 years later. A couple weeks later, he tracked me down on facebook and we met for coffee that same day.. =)

We kind of used the internet. lol.

Sorry, dont fit into your age group for this interview, but the internet was a part of the loving relationship in which i have been involved for nearly two years, and going may find interesting as a sidenote for your assignment-

Via internet, I was invited to a gay party about 45 minutes away from my home. I had only been to one other gay party before, and had felt uncomfortable. But this was a different location, with different people, and I finally, after three months of putting it off, decided to attend.

Once there, and rather nervous, I found myself sitting at the kitchen table, talking with a few other men. One was trying to make a move on me, when another, very nice looking younger man came over and sat in a chair next to me. He was very attentive, and showed me a picture of his young son. As the evening wore on, we became inseperable, talking, touching, and hugging on each other. There was instant physical chemistry.

As I left the pary, he inisted on walking me to my car, and asking if i was okay to drive home safely, due to the beer i had consumed. He handed me a slip of paper with his name and phone number....

Two weeks later, we had a four-day camping date at a gay campground in Michigan..and have been together each week, since then, our friendship, growing into a relationship...

So, the internet was not direct link...but if not for the internet, would not have found this wonderful man that i cannot imagine having in my life-

And good luck with your chosen profession...I have had no "training" in journalism, but have been published many, many times in local papers, and have written and published many books in my own small print shop.

    Thanks everyone for your responses/messages.

I don't have to do my interviewing until next week but I do have to turn in a source list by Monday to my professor.

I am trying to keep it in the college-age range (per my professor's suggestions) but we can stretch that a little if you think you have a great story.

It would be interesting to find some guys that use the internet soley to hook up, soley to date, or were only looking to hook up and surprisingly found themselves in a relationship.

If you're interested message me your full name, occupation/title, and best way to contact you (I would assume e-mail so I can send you my interview questions)
