I fancied him until I found out he was actually gay. Why is that?

This is the case with the Dr. George O'Malley of "Grey's Anatomy"... I mean, forget the actor, just the character. But even after knowing that the actor in real life is gay, I lost it.

Him and Dr. Stevens are both so annoying, and are really just useless characters on the show. Their story lines are so boring, and Izzie's dead ghost of a boyfriend, wtf?

They're both supposedly leaving the show, good riddance!

but T.R. Knight's boyfriend in real life is some 19 y.o. hottie.

Tim Daly is the actor I think is so hot - even though he's older than even I am - and older than the other actors he is on with - it doesn't matter - he's amazing. When he's on screen - I am fully tuned into his every move!

He is aging so well. It's like every year he stays the same and his sister ages for the both of them.

I agree. I lost interest as soon as I found out, too. The whole "I can't have him b/c he's straight - I don't want him b/c he's gay" thing plays well here.

ZiMsTeR, you crack me up. It's not unusual for gay men and women to be turned on by bisexuals. However, I've learned that there are plenty of gay men out there who fake it just to appear more masculine and, perhaps even less tarnished? Be careful. Don't buy into it. It is better to automatically assume they're pulling your leg.

I find him more attractive now that when he was younger.

I really dunno. Rather than offer a load of amateur psychology, I'll just say in contrast that I'm the exact opposite, and your reaction does puzzle me.

I may find a straight man physically attractive (beauty is beauty), but I don't waste my time fantasizing. My attitude towards a gay man who's out is totally different, and I feel an immediate bond with him on many levels, including potentially sexual. Learning for the first time that a particular man is gay makes me like him more.

And especially if the man is known publicly in some way, I'm proud of him for being out, hope he'll be a good "ambassador" for us. I think that the more gays are out to the public the better for gay rights, and for my own social standing in the world (although I don't support forced outing).

So being out makes me like a guy more, not less, and I wonder if you have any ideas at all yourself why you feel otherwise.

He never really did anything for me. Like I said... I'll take Erik Dane (McSteamy) ANYDAY!

i find titles to be so confusing and so 80's and what so wrong if u are attracted to men and women as long as your commited to the person who you are with at that time, then no one will get hurt, honesty is rare these day, i think people forget that, a true gentleman is not a enigma

Yeah, you're right. I fancy you 'cos you're already in a stable relationship and are basically unavailable... or are you? LAWL! Hmm... that didn't stop me before! ha ha!

As for cracking you up, here's my response to that!!!

Really? I never thought T.R. Knight was attractive. I mean, he's not ugly. But he doesn't do anything for me. Erik Dane does, though.
