I went to the urgent care this week because of pain in my forearm. I was moving out of the way of a guy charging through because he only had 20 minutes to work out. I don't know what happened, I hit the weight machine. The PA-C told me I sprained the muscle used to turn my arm, the diagnosis comes up as tennis elbow and prescribed a tennis elbow support. There are sleeves or straps. I am using a regular elbow support pushed down over the spot and an ace bandage. Any recommendations? The elbow support and ace bandage seems fine.

Try holding your hand/arm out in the "stop" position, then gently pull your finger tips back a bit. Rotate your upraised hand maybe 30 degrees left and right while you do it until you find the sweet spot. Helped mine heal faster. I now do that for both elbows every day before my workout but after some light aerobic to get the blood warm. Haven't had a problem since. Hope it helps!

Funny my sprain is related to tennis elbow but lower on my forearm. It hurts when I rotate my arm.

I found time didn't help much-- had to find an angle to stretch out the muscle. The longer I lift, the more I stretch...
