"A study out Tuesday in the journal Annals of Internal Medicine found that people who drank a cup of coffee a day were 12 percent less likely to die from cancer, stroke and diabetes as well as heart, kidney and respiratory disease than non-drinkers. And the more java, the better: People who had up to three cups a day were 18 percent less likely to perish from those conditions, according to the study."

This is all well and good, but if I were to go to Starbucks every day, and drink 3 cups at $5 to $10 each, my life would be shortened by bankruptcy. icon_sad.gif

If I drink coffee at all it's instant. I hate the fuss of brewing at home. Stick a cup of water in the microwave, take it out, stir in the instant. And only if I'm sleepy in the morning and gotta be somewhere early.

I'm learning to appreciate cooking a little, but coffee worship is not part of it.

My coffee is 1/4 water, 3/4 milk, 2 spoon sugar and a spoon coffee. That's what I drink in the morning.

    Evening I drink Chai.

I don't drink coffee frequently. Three cups is too much for me.

Gee, looks like I'm on track for a really long life, then.

I grind my coffee beans right before brewing but I have powdered coffee for baking. I kinda forgot about it. Maybe I'll try making a drink with it tomorrow and see for myself how it compares...

The only daily limiting of coffee intake is when the clock hits 6 pm. Gotta be able to sleep. No sign of those ailments, and never should be.
