Cooked on the grill, no marinade, no seasoning, MAYBE a little salt. Cooked to medium rare, but you gotta crank the fire at first to char the fat on outside, then turn it down to slow cook the marbled fat to give more flavor.

Serve w/ a green Salad and an Idaho russet baked potato. real butter for the potato...

Sorry, its what I'm craving right now. I like to get my bad juju out of my brain and launch it into Cyberspace. And my parents own a cattle ranch and some cornfed beef sounds soo goood.

Sounds really good to me.... love New York or Ribeye from Harris Ranch.
I like to marinade in my own blend of spices and mustards, but plain is ok as well .... agree about the high heat at first then s l o w cook to finish.

    Yum

You're saying you don't want a deep fried pumpkin stuffed with buttered scallops and 75 potato bacon bombs?

    LOL....

Yumm!!! Dead cow is yummy. Idaho potatoes are yummy. flex89 is from Idaho Falls, ID. I'm from Nebraska. We love dead cow around here.

My parents owned a cattle ranch for years. That's where I grew up.

Big, thick, juicy, blackened on the outside and still bleeding on the inside. It should give a weak *gurgle* when you jab it with your fork and squish delightfully when you cut into it.

Black and red angus are frickin' psychotic! The only place that breed deserves to be is on a dinner plate or extiction list.icon_lol.gif

HAHA, are you serious? Angus are pretty docile as beef cattle go. Try working w/ some Saler's.

I want some of that angus gene pool of yours. If I have a bad experience it always seems to be with an Angus. Throughout school, damn things always kicked and seem to flail about. icon_smile.gif

I am eating a big fat bloody steak right now.

7oz in my belly...salad, steamed kale and chard w/ lemon.

Where is my bacon and cheese cream soup?
