What jobs can I find and work for where you make way above minimum wage without a college degree? DO NOT say jobs like Wal-Mart, McDonalds, Janitor, Waitor,Lawn-mower, Mail-Man, UPS, Cashier, Auto-Zone, etc. As a Argentinean of German descent I will never do those jobs. I mean jobs like office jobs, and corporate jobs getting paid a decent amount of money not minimum wage.

I can speak on the corporate world (as well as the Medical field) but not the blue-collar fields

In the office world, somebody with no degree would be best off working in sales b/c if you're a good salesperson then you can make an awesome salary. However, the best sales jobs like to see a track record of success before hiring you; while most of the crappier ones literally don't give a crap.

Almost all of the good-paying office jobs require at least a bachelors degree (unless you have great connections). However, you could work in Billing, Customer Service, Accounts Payable/Receivable, Telemarketing, Call-Center and a Receptionist, Collections and make around $13 - $20 an hour in most parts of the country; with pay slowly rising with experience. If you move to a port city then you can work in Imprts/Exports at a shipping company and make decent money with no degree; it especially helps if you have a TOUGH personality and can speak another language. I used to work in this field and the money definitely is there but most of the people in that industry are disgusting so I left.

As for the medical field, you can work in dialysis after passing the boards and easily make $20 an hour as a tech. Nursing (RN), Ultrasound Tech, Xray Tech are some good programs and/or associates degrees that aren't too long where you can EASILY clear $65k a year once you finish. My boyfriend is an RN who is studying to be a Nurse Practioner.

You could be a hospital ward clerk. It's not easy to get; it is usually a unionized position, hard for an outsider to get (union members are considered first for vacancies). You need keyboard skills; data entry, and medical terminology. I started at a hospital as a part time data entry clerk and became a union member that way. I had a good paying full time job in 3 years.

Ummm, so because you're an Argentinian of German descent you're too good for certain jobs?

Some jobs in oil and gas pay 80k for no university education but you're going to sweat.

You've got to have a skill. Can be acquired like underwater video or travel advance runner. Or maybe cruise ship work? Join the Navy?

Work in the insurance field. If you are competitive, reasonably articulate, a go-getter, and can deal with immense stress and rejection, you can generate a great deal of $$ with no college degree.

Yea, ok. Like I'm going to give advice to an unverified profile with a piss-poor attitude.

Translator jobs are awesome in the courtroom (at least in Canada).

Like someone said above, just because of your nationality and ethnicity you are not entitled to a better job than others but sadly, that can help in some places.

If you speak German, look for those jobs. BMW, Mercedes and many other German companies have US facilities.

I don't speak German at all. I'm South American, and I speak Spanish.
