Don’t ask Trump himself that question. He’s still spouting, in his deranged mind, that he’s the most successful and productive President in US history. Evidently he never heard of FDR’s first 100 days during the Great Depression.
And even if Republicans manage to pass their vast tax giveaway to big business and the 1%, and Trump claims it as his personal victory (as he surely would), it’ll come back to hang them all. Hopefully in time for the 2018 elections.
The majority of voters already judge it a gift to the rich and a penalty for the middle class. I almost dare Republicans to do it. But I don’t wanna give Trump & Republicans the appearance of a single victory, even if it becomes a crippling Pyrrhic one.
And before anyone criticizes me for that attitude, do recall the noble Sen.Mitch McConnell, and his Party of No. Who thought it better to pass no legislation if it would hurt Obama and keep him from a second term, even at great cost to the welfare of the United States, while Obama tried to mount a recovery from the Bush Recession.
The poor bitter guls who failed. Been bitter, butthurt, sore losers ever since. Lady Muck, Hyacinth bucket's Bouquet. Has been in a mess ever since. Poor bitter Lady Muck. What would Kernel Kockco, ever say?
