Hitting the zone

    If you're an elite, or accomplished athlete..you get this.

    Doing stiff legs deads with 230 ... Ah yes... It only hurts for a little bit as your low back spasms and says "what are you doing?" Hitting the zone. Pulling that weight. Now in my 33'rd year of lifting, I think I like it as much, or more, than I ever did. I'm better at it now, that's for sure.

    Pain....can cause a positive adaption, sometimes....or...be warning to stop...or pain can just be pain, the result of something bad, or evil.

    Stiff leg deads are good pain. Such is the life of a musclehead.

    When I've mentored folks, I've said, "You gotta' like it." You put yourself into the zone, and pull, or push, your way through it. I like it...even after 32 years...I look forward to those days "in the zone."

    yep to me pain means you are almost at failure so another 2 reps to go anything less then pack up your bags and go home :-) If you cant push that final rep out after 30 seconds then its time to move on and only then
