Didn't realize that NBC had that much power. But Republicans and many Democrats seem to want to give all the power to the corporations...so there is that...

    ;)

Sources: Oprah Winfrey 'actively thinking' about running for president

I will consider anyone who will actually run for President. I doubt that Oprah would run. But if she did, I would be interested in finding out what her platform is. Roosevelt grew up in a wealthy family and look what he did. Just because someone is wealthy does not mean they could not do a good job. Again, if she does decide to run, what would her platform be?

Why do you always post false thread titles?

Do you not understand what you read?

What's false about NBC announcing Oprah would be THEIR next President? It's right there in front of your face!

Look at your thread title. You added "of NBC" to a story whose context you misrepresented. In my books that makes you a repugnant liar, or merely stupid, either of which I have nothing but contempt for.

With her stating all older white people must die.
Not sure she'd ever have a chance now, of becoming POTUS.

I could care less what you write about me here, or in "your book." So let's say that you are correct. That would be horrifying that NBC would make an endorsement of an individual for President.

As one of the largest news organizations in the world, to come out in support of a potential candidate for President casts incredible doubt over the integrity of the news division.*

    * Tongue in cheek. They long ago gave up any semblance of neutrality and have become one of the media arms of the Democrat party.

"President" Winfrey sucking on Harvey Weinstein's ear. Oprah is an advocate for women and will make a wonderful president! #Oprah2020

If she became president of the United States she would be a full supporter of Black Lives Matter. And racial tension and identity politics would take the main stage again. PLEASE. NO.

Just from my personal anecdotal experiences and observations. But when you take into account the previous eight years under Obama you see how many minorities who were basically given power without earning it didn't even know how to handle it or what to do with it. BLM was so out of control. Misandry from third wave feminists was more blatant than ever. Now that we've had a year under Trump and the cry baby anarchists and extreme left have finally given up pouting, throwing tantrums, destroying property and violent rioting we're returning to a calmer more civilized nation again.

This woman lacks all intelligence and business skills. Let's not forget that she was a talk show host……oh, and the wonderful products she endorsed, including that fraud and Dr. oz. but it makes sense that liberals would want her to be their president

What happened. Why is America so obsessed with the famous. The POTUS is supposed to be steeped in good governance and public policy, not just catchy speeches.... sad times for the US

I think a lot of it has to do with the familiarity of the names. They have been in peoples homes for decades. That being said, I do feel it is a little odd that so many would vote for her without knowing what her platform would be. But then again, I can't think of very many people that could do as bad a job as Trump has done.

    Yeah, Trump has been awful:

    African-American unemployment at record low.

    Hispanic unemployment at record low.

    Women unemployment at record low.

Consumer confidence at 17 year high.

More than 2 million jobs created in less than one year.

GDP growth averaging greater than 3%.

    Pretty awful stuff, yeah.
