CNBC reported that “heavy snow had already blocked the rail line through the Alps from Zurich, and villages along the route were at the highest level of avalanche alert.” Davos visitors were forced off trains and onto “a half-hour bus trip on back roads around the blockage and then loading them onto a crowded red commuter train that ran the rest of the way into Davos.”

"global warming" is a sound bite for laymen. The full consequences are more complex. Science is well beyond most people who are affected by sound bites.
Kind of like being on the raised end of the Titanic and saying, "Hey, the water is dropping...no need for a lifeboat."

    But laymen vote.
For them no amount of chattering and preaching from talking heads can negate the irony of record cold and snow during a global warming event.
Better yet the event is attended by dozens of elitists - in private jets - with their own agendas that they suspect do not have the laymen's best interests in mind.
